taylor swiftTaylor Swift loves her a Kennedy. The country singer is now officially unofficially dating Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy. If this all sounds vaguely familiar, the Swift-dating-Kennedy thing, it's because just last month, Taylor was rumored to be getting lovey dovey with Patrick Schwarzenegger, Conor's west-coast cousin. It seems like Tay Tay's tested the Camelot waters and has decided to go with Conor, 18.

Not a bad choice for the 22-year-old mega star whose last relationship with 34-year-old John Mayer blew up in her, and our, face.

Conor and Taylor were photographed getting the opposite of down and dirty at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, Massachusetts. There's some cute hand holding, there's some chatting with old Aunt Ethel, there's some sailing, and there's a good ol' fashioned pizza party.

Seems like Taylor's found herself a good match -- she comes across as a very sweet young lady, if not cloying, and if these squeaky-clean activities with Conor are any indication, she's met her match. Conor is a way better man (boy?) for her than Mayer.

Age difference aside, Taylor doesn't need a smug jerk to use her and lose her; she needs a romantic lad who will give her flowers and Anthropologie gift cards just for being her. She also needs someone who will appreciate her kindness and child-like wonderment. Mayer was too jaded to think it cute that she still feigns surprise that people cheer for her at concerts.

Here's to Taylor and Conor enjoying a fun summer of rainbows and puppy love.
