So much for 'til death do us part. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif are splitting up.
After nine years, the couple is ending their marriage. According to TMZ, the good doc plans to file for a legal separation this week. And before anyone blames Bravo for the split, it doesn't look like the pressures of fame or having cameras follow you 24-7 had anything to do with it.
Apparently, they have been having troubles for quite some time. That's not a big surprise to die-hard fans of the show. The pair constantly bickered every moment they were together. At times it seemed playful, other times you wondered if they could even stand being around each other. Still, I didn't read too much into Adrienne's eye rolls. I mean, what wife doesn't get annoyed with her husband. I suppose all that snarky banter finally took its toll.
Maloof tells Radaronline.com: "I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them ... It's an unfortunate situation but, I have to have my kids' best interest at heart."
Well, at this point, there are more divorcees on the franchise than actual housewives. Maybe they should rename it. My vote: Real Ex-Wives Spending Alimony Loot.
Are you surprised Adrienne and Paul are breaking up?

Why is it that my favorite reality tv couples split? Good luck to them and their kids!
And regarding the Real Ex-Wives Spending Alimony Loot idea, I don't think Adrienne would get alimony. Paul is a doctor, while Adrienne has her shoe line (which I love) and access to the Maloof bank account.
Me too. Loved the Maloofs/Nassifs.
yes i am surprised I though they are cute . so what happen? or when it happen?
I'm really not surprised about their split, they seemen to be "a couple" she didn't seem to respect him and his work (thus the constant eye rolls) and he was always finding faults with her (that's not how you make a sandwich).
I really can't see what they had in common to even get married other than they both had boat loads of money.
However, I hope they can stay cicil about the split and be there for their kids.
Honestly no big surprise. I did like them though. I hope they tried counseling because ending a marriage is a big deal and they should make sure they exhaust every avenue before they call its quits. My thoughts and prayers for both of them and their children.
LOL!! RENAME IT! love your idea..
its true, most are not married anymore.is it the show? the celebrity? for Maloof, she was already pretty set financially... oh well...
