rob pattinsonYou don't have to be on Team Edward to know that Kristen Stewart's affair was going to crush Robert Pattinson.

It was clear from the start of the relationship he was waaayyyy more into her than she was into him. Don't get me wrong, I think she loved the guy. I just think he loved her more. Of course now he is devastated. Everyone knows he deserved better than that. That is why his reaction to the shocking news was a HUGE disappointment.

Pattinson packed his bags and moved out. I knew that they would likely be taking a break or break up entirely, but why in the world is HE moving out. Stewart is the bad guy here. She's the one who needs to kick rocks. Why should he lose the love of his life and his home in the same week?

I've seen this before. When a family friend found out her husband was cheating, within hours she packed up her stuff and headed to her sister's house. It's a knee-jerk reaction. You feel powerless, unable to really cope with the hurt, so you do the only thing you can do -- leave. She regretted that decision later though. Turns out, her hubby wasn't exactly sad to see her go. In a few weeks, he moved his mistress in while she was bunking on couches and wondering what to do next. Now she is in a fight to get them both out so she can move back into the the home she so lovingly decorated and adored.

Bottom line is, after a significant other cheats, the jilted person shouldn't make life any easier for them. Kick the cheater to the curb. Not sure how? Rent Waiting to Exhale. The best scene in the movie is when Angela Bassett clears her creep of a husband's belongings out of their massive walk-in closet, then sets the stuff on fire. Women in the theater cheered watching that.

Now, it could be the case that Pattinson didn't want to be there anymore. Too many reminders of what he thought they had. But either way, I just hope Stewart offered to leave first. At this point, she should be doing everything she can to ease his humiliation and broken heart.
