In what has to be the most scandalous & surprising piece of celebrity couple news since Katie filed for divorce from Tom -- Kristen Stewart was caught red-handed cheating on Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. And of course, Twilight fans are going crazy & getting all bent out of shape this morning because they just can't understand how something like this could happen to Hollywood's "it" couple.
Perhaps one of the worst parts of the whole deal isn't solely the fact that Kristen cheated, but that she cheated with a married father of two. Giving into temptation was definitely a major lapse in judgement on both their parts -- but I'm just not sure this incident signals the end of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up being nothing more than a blip on the radar -- because the kiss she shared with Sanders is being blown out of proportion.
Yes, they locked lips -- but that doesn't exactly constitute a full-blown affair. And yes, they should've known better than to get caught up in the moment, but it's not like they've been sneaking around for months and shacking up in cheap hotels or anything like that. My guess is that they were innocently chatting, and one thing led to another, and the next thing they knew, they were playing tonsil hockey. (It happens.)

And it's also important to note that while Kristen and Robert have been together for quite some time, they're both still young -- and they're not married yet. Don't take what I'm saying the wrong way, because I'm definitely not condoning Kristen's actions. But I truly believe she and Rob can definitely get over this little slip and move on.
They've had such a rock solid relationship ever since they first started dating, and if they're truly as committed as they claim to be, it's going to take a lot more than one kiss to tear them apart and end things for good. Rob has always supported Kristen and obviously adores her -- and he'll prove his devotion even more by forgiving & forgetting her actions. And now that Kristen has issued a formal apology acknowledging her wrongdoing, Rob has even more reason to give her a second chance.

OMG so what they had a kissing make out session, get over it. I think Rob will be the bigger person and forgive Kristen. If I was the wife on the other hand that's a different story. He should of known better. What's the difference, How many times has someone had to have a kissing make out session in a film, you can't tell me that the hormones aren't going then. People need to grow up and realize what is important. I love Kristen and Rob as a couple and I think that being in the public eye just makes it more difficult, this is why they kept their relationship on the down low to begin with.
I think he will forgive her. She made a dumb decision and is completely regretful. This looks worse on the married guy though. Its different when the person is married with children
I think they should forgive each other afterall Rob cheated on Kristen towards the beginning of their relationship with his Remember Me Costar, there were pictures everywhere of them making out and whatnot. I don't condone cheating but if they can work it out I wish them the best.
I dont know. Really hate to see them break up,because their so much alike in so many way's. Of course they do come from 2 different backgrounds. Kristen's parents are just old hippie's,but nothing wrong with it. Just raised to be more open to different things. Rob, I think, came from parents a lot more conservative, like I did. I do hope the 2, can get past all this mess. Sometimes forgiveness is hard, but not always. It may come slower,but it comes anyway. God, nobodies perfect It was only a week ago, that a woman called Rob a sleaze, because he went to a strip joint with his dad. Come on people, gap happens sometimes. Kristen is sorry, so maybe Rob can forgive her. Just hoping he can.
OK so everyone loves the wo of them together even though I am a huge "Jacob" fan I love the two of them together however I do not remember seeing Kirsten in anything before Twilight where she met Rob and "fell in love" which was great a love story come true but then...she goes on to do her next movie and makes out with the director! In my opinion I do not think Rob can trust her because it seems like she cant keep her hands off the men she works with! ( how she kept her hands off Taylor I have no idea but anyway) I can not speak for him and maybe they can pull through this but I don't see it happening! Celebrity marriages are hard enough add cheating this early in the relationship I just don't see it working out! Besides she married the guy that half the country would love to be with and that wasn't enough for her? The guy she cheated with is not all that and double her age, married with children! We all make mistakes but this makes me look at her in a totally different way now!!!
