When news of Kristen Stewart's fling with married director Rupert Sanders broke last night, reports were making it out like it was a brief transgression on both their parts. One source told People, "She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened." So maybe they made out a little while the movie was filming and both realized it would be a mistake to go any further?
It's not clear. Especially not now that new details have emerged that make it seem like they were perhaps (and still are?) sneaking around for some time and carrying on a full-throttle illicit relationship ...
According to Us Weekly, a photographer actually caught Kristen in Sanders' car on July 17. The unnamed paparazzo claims:
Kristen was sitting with her back against the driver's-side window, and this guy was kissing her entire body.
The story goes on to explain that the couple then went to Pacific View Trail around 5:15 p.m., sat in the car, and "kissed like teens." They then reportedly walked the trail together, but would "split up and walk in other directions" when they heard voices -- or saw passersby. Afterward, Kristen dropped him off three blocks from the house he shares with wife Liberty Ross and their two children, allegedly kissing one last time before he got out and walked home. Wow.
If this is true, then the two were obviously hooking up months after the shooting of Snow White & the Huntsman wrapped. So this was definitely not just some passing, impulsive make-out session that took place exclusively on-set! And making matters even worse -- Kristen was being so cozy with Rob around the same time, carrying on as if she wasn't totally stabbing him in the back by running around with Rupert. Wow.

This possible revelation -- that it wasn't a one-time indiscretion -- has got to be a gamechanger. Initially, I would have said Rob might be able to forgive Kristen for a solitary "whoopsie!" make-out session that mistakenly happened months ago, but I'm not sure if there's any way they'll be able to rebuild trust after what may have been months of lying and cheating. Man oh man -- what a mess!

The rumor came out YESTERDAY. Before we condemn her and especially her relationship with Rob, lets the facts, mkay? If she were backstabbing him, she would not have acted with him the way she did at Comic-con. A one time mistake is more understandable, but either way, let's get all the info first, 'kay ladies?
I don't have an opinion, simply because gossip magazines are just that, GOSSIP. They come up with juicy news and details about celebs lives to make a buck... Granted, some may be true, especially if pics are involved... but how do they know the extent without actually hearing the story from the people in question themselves?
So, until I hear a confession about ALL that went down with Kristen and Rupert.. i have no opinion. I could care less. I hope the rumors are false.. and if they are not, I wish the best for ALL of them.. People need to remember, Kristen is YOUNG and just because she is a celebrity, does not mean she's any less human than the rest of us. She will make mistakes, she will fall in love, she will fall out of love.. that's just human nature. As she grows older, she will realize her mistakes and learn to move on from them and not repeat them!
She issued a public apology but she never said it happened more than once. This just sounds like paparazzi trying to add on and make things worse for cash.
It does sound like it was only a one time thing with the apology she released. I want to hear what Robert has to say about it. I figured there would be wedding bells in their future but after this, I know Rob is an understanding guy, but being such a gentleman and an upstanding man at that, I don't know if he would stand for this.
who cares? this is someones PRIVATE life. If there is any sympathy to given out it needs to be to his wife and Robert. They are the one's who had NO CHOICE is what has happened to them. All I have to say is she is 22 and you do stupid things when your 22. He has no excuse!!! If they ( Kristin and Robert) work it out, great more power to them.
personally I always thought their relationship was fake to promote the Twilight series. And now, with the last film coming out this happens...yeah right. She wasn't cheating cause it was all fake to start with.
