Who Needs '50 Shades of Grey' When You Can Boost Your Sex Drive This Way? (VIDEO)

Health Check 2

loving coupleWomen across the country are singing the praises of E.L. James. Not because they necessarily believe that she's a gifted writer whose astounding prose has offered them a higher level of consciousness or anything like that. (Puh-leeeze!) But because they credit the Fifty Shades of Grey author with helping them get their mojo back! Yeah, as evidenced by the hilarious SNL skit starring Kristen Wiig back in May, the steamy BDSM trilogy is making some readers hornier than they've been in quite some time.

And there's nothing wrong with that! Reading erotica is an awesome place to start if you're looking to get in the mood to get it on. But it's certainly not the only way. Or the fastest way ...

Natural living expert Blythe Metz, of BlytheRaw.com, prides herself on offering up info and demonstration to increase health, strength, energy, and happiness. In one of her most recent Blythe Raw Live episodes, Blythe showed viewers a quickie Qi Gong exercise called "The Deer," meant to increase sexual energy and enjoyment! Seriously quick -- within just a few minutes.

Check it out:

Okay, so it's not exactly a conventional way of going about libido-boosting, but who cares? It seems so simple and potentially really effective. And the rationale for how both the circular breast and the pelvic floor parts of the exercise work -- by increasing nerve connection between endocrine glands in the breast and in the brain, which helps to secrete the hormones oxytocin and DHEA, and by increasing blood flow to the pelvic area -- makes perfect sense, given what we know about the perks of breastfeeding and of Kegels. Not sure if I buy the part about the circular breast massage increasing fullness of the breasts, but if that's an added perk, even better!

Seems like something that certainly wouldn't hurt to try -- and sure beats combing through a 380-page book which may or may not make you all hot and bothered!

Would you try this exercise to increase your sexual energy and enjoyment?
