We're beginning to hear more about why Katie Holmes has filed from divorce from Tom Cruise and it's because of his -- hair! Bwaha. Of course not. No, he was having an affair -- with a woman! Bwahah. Double of course not. It's because of his devotion to Scientology. His fierce, unwavering, unnerving, and downright scary as all hell devotion to Scientology. Supposedly. Did you really think it was going to be anything else? B.O.? No, KSW! (That's "Keep Scientology Working," for the uninitiated and, yeah, I had to look it up.)
Apparently Katie began to worry for the future of little Suri, who would no doubt be brought up in the Scientology faith. Word has it she is now at the age (she's six) when Scientology would take over her brain begin to become important to her. And Katie wasn't so down with that. But why not? I mean, could it somehow have escaped Katie's notice that Tom was a Scientoloholic?
Tom has been one of the most -- if not the most -- famous advocates for Scientology in the world. Long before he met Katie. Why would she suddenly have a problem with its teachings? Could it be that Tom's big movie star status, his wealth, his power in the industry, and his high-paying contract good looks won her over in the beginning but started to look terrifying less appealing as time wore on?
We all know women who had major red flags about guys and went ahead and got involved with them anyway. At first, the flags weren't that big, and they added a little spice to things. But years later, those little flags became ENORMOUS PLANET-SIZED FLAGS.
Also, a child can change your priorities. Maybe Katie thought she'd be fine with raising a kid under Scientology, but when she had Suri, she began to change her mind about it. Maybe motherhood became more important than alienhood.
If you watch the video below of Tom raving on (and on ...) about Scientology (and KSW's and SP's and Orgs and a whole lotta wackadoodle stuff) you'll wonder what Katie saw in this guy. And how she lasted so long.

I'm watcing this video and I have no idea what the hell he is talking about.

SMH... Thank god she stopped with just one child with him.
Unless she can prove her primary residence has been in NY (has nothing to do with where marriage docs were executed), Tom could very well bring it to CA, where he WILL get joint custody. Not to mention, LA Scientology HQs is SO wealthy, he will mobilize them to crucify in court, and blacklist her in Hollywood.
Hate to say I knew that but I sooooo knew that. @EvalynCarnate, I beleive in freedom of religion too but not when it is a cult that denies people of their liberties and is, frankly, sinister. I only hope that Katie does not suffer some bizarre repercussions over this and that she gets Suri the hell out.

Tom Cruise is unwell. He is so arrogant yet he has now 3 failed marriages behind him. He ought to just marry some little Scientologist who is willing to be submissive and recoil in the background and then he can get on with his "helping" people.
Scientology is a submersive dangerous cult. The create organisations that do not bear the Scientology name and then sell their services to governments who are ignorant enough not to know better (check out Criminon for example or how about the Citizens Commission on Human Rights - sounds innocuous but guess what?). Probably running Facebook or something....
What the hell is he saying? Does anyone understand his train of thought at all? He is not known for being very bright. He should stick to action. Trying to act intelligent doesn't work for him.
Poor Suri. i think Tom and Scientology will work to destroy her mommy. Nicole basically had to give up her kids. I have a feeling Katie will have to as well.
