Is Jennifer Aniston engaged? Well, is she?!! That's what everyone is wondering after Jen came back from a vacation with her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, sporting a big diamond ring. On her left hand. On her engagement finger. Jen, if you're not engaged, you're playing us all, and I, for one, won't stand for it! Okay, maybe it's just, like, a "promise ring." Or maybe Jen bought a diamond ring and stuck it on her engagement finger as a not-so-subtle hint to Justin. Or maybe it's not any of these things and she's just wearing a damn ring. I don't know!! But Jen needs to get engaged. I'm officially saying she better be engaged. Let me tell you why.
Jen has been dating Justin for a year. Justin is definitely her most serious boyfriend since her divorce from Brad Pitt. There's been none of that John Mayer make up-break up stuff. These two practically live in each other's pockets. Rumor has it they live together. Plus, they dress alike! What more do you need for lifetime compatibility than a dude with your fashion sense??

Jen has said she still believes in marriage -- never mind how that one with Brad ended. She still says she'd like kids -- or rather, that she's not against them. She's just letting things happen as they may. Hey, maybe she's pregnant too? So many of my friends say they got pregnant on vacation.
Jen may look 10 years younger than her 43 years, but if she wants to get pregnant, she needs to be trying now. Not that she needs to be engaged to get pregnant, of course. Ugh, I'm so worked up. Jen, why'd you put on that ring?
I'm a believer that if you want to get married, you give a relationship two years to see if it's headed down the aisle. Unless you're 20. Then give it all the time you want. But for the rest of us, two years is enough to know if you're generally compatible and have the same relationship goals. I'm not saying you HAVE to get married after two years -- but if you want to, then two years is a decent amount of time to give a relationship before making a decision. Am I alone on this? Anyway, Jen is at one year. So. Am I making sense? Jen, why'd you put on that ring???
Anyway, if Jen isn't engaged, and she's just wearing a diamond ring for the heck of it, I don't know what to say. She is asking, nay, begging for a media frenzy! So, what is it Jen? Whisper it in my ear, I won't tell.
Do you think Jen is engaged?

I hope so too
I've always been Team Jen! She is the epitome of class and grace and exactly how to handle a relationship gone publicly bad. We could all take a page from her book! I certainly hope this is it for her but even it it ISN'T, she has shown all women that you don't need a man to make you happy! She takes great care of her body/ health, is obviously fiancially sound and clearly loves herself! Team Jen FTW!
I hope so, too.
I hope that she is. I adore her!
I have to disagree with you on "give a relationship two years to see if it's headed down the aisle".
Statistically, if a couple is not engaged after 18 months, the chances that they will ever get married decline significantly. This is based on John T. Molloy's book "Why Men Marry Some Women and Not Others", who is a statistician who interviewed over 3000 married couples and analyzed the results.
TEAM JENNIFER!!!!
Jen has earned enough money to buy and wear whatever she wants.
