Now that Teen Mom is gearing up for its final season, we can't help but wonder what is going to happen to the cast members (other than Amber Portwood) after the show ends. And while the future looks kind of uncertain for most of them, Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra are moving on to the next phase of their lives and finally getting married.
Every time I've watched them on the show, I've always been so struck by how mature and sensible they both are. Watching them make the decision to give their daughter up for adoption was heartbreaking, but I was so impressed with just how unselfish and responsible these two are even though they're both so young. And normally when couples contemplate tying the knot on television, I roll my eyes and assume they're simply trying to capitalize on their 15 minutes of fame. But in Catelynn & Tyler's case, I absolutely think they need to have their wedding on TV.

Unlike other reality shows, fans have followed their story straight from the beginning, and they've seen how many obstacles Tyler & Catelynn have had to climb over to get to a point in their lives where a happy ending is imminent. Everyone has been rooting for their relationship to succeed each and every season, so it's only fitting for fans to get to cheer them on one final time. It almost doesn't make sense for them to keep their nuptials private considering how much of their lives have been shown on TV.
And even though the wedding is their big moment, Catelynn & Tyler definitely have the feelings of their fans in the forefront of their minds. Catelynn told Wetpaint, "We want to show our wedding and say, this is our happy ending."
And honestly, I'll be shocked if they aren't truly in this for the long haul. The odds of finding your soul mate at the tender age of 16 are slim to none -- but this couple was absolutely meant to be together.
Will you tune in for Tyler & Catelynn's wedding if it's televised?

You say "Finally getting married." Huh? They are what, 19 & 20? Yes, they are great together, but what a dumb thing to say about a couple that's SO darn young! Please!
I was 15 when I met my soulmate. He was 17. Got married when we were 21 and 23, and will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and birth of our 3rd child this summer.
I don't usually advocate for young marriages, and I still think hubby and I were too young to get married, but I remember being amazed at Catelynn and Tyler's maturity when they were deciding that adoption was the right choice for their child. And the strength they showed in sticking with that decision when their own parents were so adamantly opposed. It was interesting to me that the most mature kids on the show were the ones deciding that they weren't prepared to be parents while the others kept their babies and then seemed so shocked by how difficult it was. I wish them nothing but the best - regardless of whether their wedding is televised or private. If anyone can handle it, it's these two!
why they get so much backlash for not being "real" parents from the crowd that advocates adoption over abortion blows my mind. mtv made the right decision in showing teen pregnancy from 4 different angles that season and i'm glad they did. i'd put money on thier daughter being happier/more well adjusted/ involved in thier lives than amber is with leah. but thats ok, because amber is a "real" parent, right?
