As far as public displays of affection go, I'm not a big fan. As far as make-outs at a sports game go, I'm even less of a fan. And you know who feels me? This guy, with a beer on the right. Glee stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night taking in the New York Rangers hockey game, and apparently, they felt the arena was a little too chilly, what with the ice and all, and decided they needed to heat things up with some PDA.
These two have been cagey about their romance for a while now, but it looks like the dancing cat's out of the handbag because boy oh boy, they're smooching. Lea and Cory, sitting in a tree.
But enough about those Gleeks. Can we talk for a second about the guy with the beer who looks less than amused by the whole situation? The look on his face is priceless and pretty much says it all. Whoever makes out at a hockey game, during the playoffs, needs to be taken out back to have the pucks beat out of them. That, or ridiculed on the Internet.
Leave the lovey dovey stuff to Mexican vacations and thinly veiled tweets because I think I speak for everyone out there who didn't grow up in a touchy-feely household that this kind of PDA is unnecessary.
Don't you like how I'm acting as if they were butt-naked doing it in Aisle B? Me too.
Whatever. I guess I'm mostly taken aback by their display of affection at a hockey game because Cory is Canadian. I mean, come on. Have some respect for the sport, man. It's your civic duty to pay full attention.
All right, enough of Cory and Lea and they're sitting in trees and k-i-s-s-i-n-g. Yay, they found love, etc. Game three's tomorrow afternoon. We've got bigger fish to fry.

Okay.... I see nothing wrong with PDA. Unless you take it too far.
momavanessa has obviously never been to Halloween Haunt. You see stuff there that makes this positively tame! We are talking grossly inappropriate for public there!
On the thing about their public PDA I'd have to agree with the columnist. Hockey is BIG in Canada so you do not profane it by ignoring it in favor of a smooch. Two, how much of a PDA was it? Tonsil hockey or just a snuggle? Tonsil hockey is too much for public and so is petting which some couples see as okay. Meh!
OMG get over it it was a couple of little kisses. It wasn't tonsil hockey they were pecks.
You can't look at a pciture and determine what someone is thinking. For al you know that guy was unhappy wiht the play of the Rangers.
You aren't making Lea and Cory look bad you are making yourslef look bad for this insipid story.
And by the way why are you trying to make them look bad?
