“Sex Confessions” is a series featuring your naughtiest bedroom secrets and fantasies. Some will sound familiar, others may give you ideas, and all will turn you on. You might want to sit down for this.
Today's sex confession comes from a confessor who wants to be dominated. Here's what she has to say:
I'll admit that I bought into the whole Fifty Shades of Grey hype, but I am so glad I did. I think it will make my sex life a little hotter. It has certainly made my imagination hotter. I just don't know how to tell my husband without freaking him out. I want him to dominate me. I want him to come home from work, take off his tie, and use it to tie me up.
I've been having some really vivid sex dreams since finishing the first book in the Grey series. I keep thinking about what it would be like ... spanking ... being blindfolded ... completely surrendering to my husband. We've never been into any kind of kinky sex. Well, maybe a little when we were first together, but things kind of settled into a groove and our sex life is good, but it could certainly be more adventurous. I don't want to hurt my husband's feelings or make him think I'm not satisfied in the bedroom, and that's my biggest fear in telling him how I want to shake it up a bit. How I want him to ravage me as I submit to him.
After a long day with work, the kids, cooking, there really is nothing that sounds better to me than to have my man take care of me. Sexually, that is. To surrender. To be blindfolded and teased, wondering when my man will touch me and where. Waiting to feel all of him. I imagine the sensations will be greater. No, I don't want my own sex life to mirror the Grey book exactly, but there are certain things in it that really turned me on. And I really think that if my husband has an open mind about it, it will be that little spark our sex life needs. Maybe I can buy a blindfold and present him with the idea that way. We can start slow and go from there.
What advice would you give to this confessor? How would you talk to your husband about wanting to be dominated?

i have wonder how boring everyone else's sex lives are when talk they can talk about is domination (which has been around since forever, before crappy fan fiction was written)and how its made their sex lives "hotter"..
the books boring and it seems peoples fantsies are boring, considering how easily enticed they are.
I'm with Water_geM on this one... I've been into being tied up since way before it became "cool" because of 50 Shades. I'm surprised everyone else is so hyped up by all of this and it saddens me to think that such a HUGE percentage of the population seems to have led such vanilla sex lifes until now.
^^ I'm with the above two as well. I've always been creative when it comes to sex, not just with domination but role playing and everything else.I think its because society has stigmatized that anything but vanilla sex is too"weird" or "kinky" and thus unacceptable, which is really sad.
how boring was sex life before 50 shades of grey ... I am older and before this book came out we always did some crazy stuff to keep it creative
My husband and I have always been a tad into the "darker" side of sex... but its not an all the time thing. It is fun to try different and racier things now and again...But you should never be afraid to bring these things up to your spouse...especially the husband! "Hey honey, tie me up and do naughty things to me!"--- Yea..THAT wont get his motor running at all! lol
Wow. A person asks a question, looks for advice, and some people come on and call her boring and trash the book that inspires her to expand her horizons??? Nice way to be helpful.
Meanwhile... If you want something in the bedroom, you have to ask for it. You don't need to be demanding, or insulting, or condescending or any of that. A simple, "honey, I've been reading this book, and it's really intrigued me, and turned me on. I'd like to try some of it with you."
You're not judging him, you're not putting your own sex life down, rather, you're showing him that you trust him enough to share these intimate thoughts and desires with him.
Write out your "desires" using you and your husband as characters and then give it to him. Write you're "own" Grey scene. I just wrote out a 5 page story of a fantasy running through my head(spurned from an innocent statement he made last week...I just took it to another level) in beautifully graphic detail and handed it to my husband to read. His first words were "How do we make THIS happen?" <HUGE GRIN>
