Holy masseur-gate! As everyone knows by now, two masseurs have filed a lawsuit against John Travolta, claiming he groped them and sexually harassed them. And their lawyer says that more masseurs will soon join up with the suit. If you believed everything going on in the media with Travolta, you'd think he's done nothing but run around grabbing the private parts of masseurs for the past several years.

Look, I don't know if any of this is true or not. Famous people are always targets for wacky claims and bizarre lawsuits. It wasn't long ago that some chick was claiming Justin Bieber knocked her up backstage, remember? In fact, it looks like Travolta wasn't even in town during one of these alleged episodes.

But one thing is for sure. John Travolta has long been the subject of gay rumors, tabloid and book "exposes," and even a legal complaint. And, if his sexuality turns out to be other than 100 percent straight, would anyone be shocked? Especially, dare I say it, his wife?

Travolta and his wife are practicing Scientologists, and Scientology has not been friendly to gay people. While in general I absolutely believe that closeted men (and women) can fool their spouses, in this case, I'd have to believe that Travolta's beautiful wife, Kelly Preston, has some idea about it. The speculation has just gone on for far too long, and has even come from some unexpected places:

In 2010, actress Carrie Fisher said about Travolta:

I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry that he’s uncomfortable with it, and that’s all I can say.

I'm not saying Carrie knows all. I'm just saying, there's certainly been a lot of talk. That talk could be wrong, absolutely.

I hate to break it to you, but not every marriage is a "traditional" marriage. Even the word "traditional" isn't quite accurate, because marriage traditions change all of the time. People get married for all kinds of reasons, including because they love a person, they want children, they want financial benefits, they want a society-approved arrangement. Arrangements in marriage are not new, not in Hollywood, and not in the general public. As long as both parties are on board, why not?

Again, these Travolta rumors could be complete nonsense. But if they're not, I don't think most of us would be shocked. Least of all Kelly Preston.

Are you surprised by the allegations against Travolta?
