Ooooohhhh myyyyyy. The moment we ladies have all been waiting for has finally arrived! We get a glimpse into the young love life of none other than his Presidentness, Barack Obama, seen through the eyes of his ex-girlfriend. Yowsa! In a new biography excerpted in Vanity Fair, one of Obama's ex's, Genevieve Cook, shares her diary entries about macking the future POTUS.
Well, this has got to be good, right? What could be steamier than getting it on with the future leader of the world? Plus, Obama is HOT. So let's hear what his ex-gf (that lucky bish) has to say ...
Cook was Obama's girlfriend when he was a no-doubt super-handsome 22-year-old living in New York and attending Columbia University. So, get ready, one night Cook tells Obama that she loves him. Aww!! Sizzzzlin'! Obama's response? I'm thinking he said something like, "Yeah ... you know I love you too, baby. Let's go see some jazz tonight."
But, um. What's this? Apparently Obama's response was more along the lines of ... um ... "Thank you." Yes, he thanked her. That's polite, but ...
Thank you, Barack?! She didn't just pass you the salt, buddy. Way to avoid saying it back! Sigh. But finally, things get a little steamy. Yes, yes! Cook talks about Obama's "sexual warmth." Oooh, now we're getting somewhere. Sing it, sistah! Says Cook:
The sexual warmth is definitely there—but the rest of it has sharp edges and I'm finding it all unsettling and finding myself wanting to withdraw from it all.
Hm. Okay, some potential here. What was "unsettling"? And what, pray, had "sharp edges"? Speak, woman, speak! I need more details here! Sigh. Then Cook and Obama break up:
In the same way that the relationship was founded on calculated boundaries and carefully, rationally considered developments, it seems to be ending along coolly considered lines.
Eh? Where's the late night hang up calls and slashing of tires? Something? I'm getting a bit frustrated now. Okay, a LOT frustrated. Fifty Shades of Obama? Not quite. Le sigh!!!
Were you hoping for more nitty-gritty about Obama as a young luvah?

Hehehe!! it it always fun to learn these kind of details about public figures.
When you read this, along with his "own" biography... it fits quite well. Obama has always wanted to be 'somebody.' He wasn't afraid to pass you over if you weren't going to get him anything out of life. He wanted power and he wanted glory. She was just a gal he took to bed to pass the time, nothing more. When he got bored, he moved on.
It's sad because she wanted to be more important than she ever could be. Obama had a mission in life and wasn't going to settle for some white girl. He needed his strong and powerful black woman to help boost his appeal. I have no doubt the president loves his wife- but he does so because of what she has to offer him. They are a perfect pair. lol
Sarcasm, Kris Gamble, makes you look like an ass. I've read his own words, from his biography about his life. His followers and beloved devotees can feel as though they know him and are blessed by his mere being... yet, because I don't believe his hype and am not falling over myself for him- my insight is less meaningful? He is very clear about all of what I said in his book, he makes no bones about being who he is or driven to do what he has. I give him kudos for achieving what he has... no doubt he's worked hard for it. No, I don't agree with his politics- but neither does 1/2 our population. Get over yourself.
