The All-Too Common Sex Mistakes Men Make

It seems like women are as complicated as a Rubik's Cube. Okay, that's wrong. Women are MORE complicated than a Rubik's Cube -- especially in the bedroom. How do men know what women want in the bedroom? Oh that's a hard question. Sometimes, we ladies aren't TMI enough about the things that make us feel good. So how they learn what we do want is by learning what we DON'T want.

Here are some common sex mistakes men make you should share with your man in some mysterious way so that he doesn't think you're unsatisfied but he gets the message and gives you better lovin'.

He thinks sex feels the same for him as it does for you. Newsflash, dudes! It doesn't. When a dude has his penis in a woman's vagina, it feels amazing. For him. Most women don't have an incredibly sensitive vagina. So men, remember that it's going to take more than a penis in our vagina to rock our socks off.

He thinks he knows exactly what you want. Men assume (incorrectly) that every woman wants what every other woman he's had sex with wants. But women, we're not all the same. If we were, you'd never have to date more than one of us. Learn what WE want. Not what the rest of them wanted. This applies inside AND outside of the bedroom.

He thinks his penis alone can get you to orgasm. A lot of women can't achieve orgasm without clitoral stimulation -- of the vibrator variety. That doesn't mean she's flawed or her vagina is broken -- it's just the way it is. Many couples can easily integrate a vibrator into their sexual escapades without any problem. And if you do have a problem with one? You should get over it. NOW.

You think you know your way around our lady bits. Again, newsflash, you probably don't. Why? Not because you're not awesome or you don't try, but because we're all a little different down there. Sure, you can find our clitoris, but if you mash it with your fingers as hard as you can because you think we like that? You're going to be summarily booted from bed.

So what do you think, ladies? Any other mistakes men make in bed? Do share!

The main sex mistake is marrying to get it!

MiniM... MiniMePlease

I have ZERO problem telling him what I like and don't like, in fact neither of us do. Being open and honest is the concrete of a solid relationship. Here's a mistake, trying to stick it  in your butt before your prepared hahahahahaa :D

Does the blogger just lay there like an entitled person w/a princess mentality or does she actually do any of the work or attempt to communicate? Most guys aren't above reproach/instruction if you use some tact.

It seems this article is screaming how much men are stupid, selfish, and clueless. Couldn't you explain your wants and needs without the sarcasm?

Caitlin Woodward

I'm curious to know why the people commenting are attacking the writer here?? I'm sure the writer can speak to her man without sarcasm and explain her needs. BUT, we've all been there with men who thought at least one of these things. The article is ENTERTAINMENT. Geez, some people on here take everything so seriously. Get a life.

When a woman tells you to use more lube, you don't tell her how much you've already used, you don't open your mouth, you just get the lube and USE. MORE.

Also, I've discovered most men are wusses when it comes to oral.  Being bi and having been on the giving and receiving end of both sexes, I can safely say that they also don't pay attention to our bodies or LISTEN when we tell them what we like and how.

hummm... I think if your with someone you feel uncomfortable communicating with about your sexual needs ya'll may not be ready for sex ;.} Good communication is the root of any health relationship and sexual interaction (well maybe not in the bathroom after a concert ;.})  Tallk before hand, during and after to ensure everybody is on the same erotic page ;.} Tantra is my #6, because it provides a great guideline for communication during intimacy ;.} If you don't know how to broach the topic watch together a movie/ TV program with a sex scene (super easy to find) and discuss it or discuss an article or book.  HBO used (may still do) air a program called Strange Sex and after discussing that program you will definitely overstand your man's or woman's preferences ;.}

As far as mistakes that both men and women make:1) Forgetting or not knowing that a women's number 1 errogenous zone is her mind, so feeling loved, etc is going to get her wetter than anything else. 2) The Biggest bbbbiiiigggggest mistake is BEING TOOO SELFISH OR UNCARING TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PARTNER(S) ENJOY THEMSELVES COMPLETELY EACH AND EVERYTIME!!!!

I get this is entertainment... but Telling people to feel how you feel about an object isn't a good idea...  Many couples can easily integrate a vibrator into their sexual escapades without any problem. And if you do have a problem with one? You should get over it. NOW. For example... Vibration is A HUGE turn off for me, it does NOTHING, turns me the other way, I've tried, I can't get into it so WHY would I want my fiance to include this personal sex-drive destroyer into our sexual relations? Not every woman needs the use of toys to get off. We don't use toys at all, and all it takes is him whispering in my ear and using what he was given to bring me to the big "O". No toys involved.
