Kourtney Kardashian announced earlier today that she's pregnant with Baby #2. So happy for her, but I won't lie -- my mind jumped straight from "Yay, another cute Kardashian baby!" to "Oh yeah, but Scott Disick is the dad." And now there are reports that a wedding for Kourtney and Scott is in the works, a small family-only one, but a wedding nonetheless.
Sure, it's always the hope that a couple with a child will end up married and living happily ever after. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees, and I don't think Kourtney should marry Scott just because she has kids with him. In fact, marrying Scott could ruin everything.
As viewers, we're all HUGE fans of the couple's first child, little cutie pie Mason Disick, and I hate to diss on his father and all. However, anyone who has kept up with the Kardashians, particularly Kourtney, can tell you her relationship with the Scott is highly questionable. Scott has battled with all the behaviors that make for rotten husbands -- from binge drinking and lying to punching things and being the reigning king of total douchedom. And frankly, I'm not sure he's brought out the best in Kourtney either.

Kourtney and Scott are clearly still trying to figure things out, and unless there's something extra special and good behind the scenes that we don't get to see, they seem to have a long way to go. Whether or not, they're going about it in the right way is up for debate, but just because they seem to get babymaking right doesn't mean they're getting coupledom right -- or ever will. They have made it this far doing the unconventional, unmarried parent-couple thing, and it seems like a good, safe place to stay. There's no need to force a relationship into something that's wrong for everyone. You can still be good parents without ever being married.

There must be some reason Kourtney and Scott haven't married already. One or both of them are dragging their heels on the nuptial business and probably for a very good reason. I say have the baby, work to make his/her life and Mason's as wonderful as can be, and leave all that bad marriage stuff to Kim.
