If there were a pill that promised to return the youthful energy you had 10 years ago, improve your mental clarity, and increase your sex drive, would you take it? I would! Of course, nothing like that actually exists, right?

Well, that is the question AgeLOC Vitality hopes to answer for me. According to them, contained in this bottle of 180 pills is the answer to the "loss of vitality we experience as we age."

From the video testimonials, I may be a bit on the young(ish) side for the product. It seems like this "loss of vitality" occurs around 35 and later. But as the working mom of two kids with a house, running, and a husband to keep up with, I am very accustomed to feeling less than energetic, so I was game.

The product claims to:

Support three dimensions of vitality that typically decline with age—physical vigor, mental acuity, and sexual health.

Raise baseline energy level.

Help you feel more like you did when you were young.

Hmmm ... it's hard to imagine a product that will get me off my daily coffee, but I will give it a shot. Mostly I am focused on the sexual boost from a product that has been described by some as "herbal Viagra."

I started taking the pills without learning much about what was in them (occupational hazard?), which my husband quickly pointed out was really stupid (duh). So, here is a list of the ingredients for all those responsible folks who actually care what they, you know, put into their bodies! Ingredients:

AgeLOC Vitality contains a proprietary and patent pending blend of three unique extracts: 1) Cordyceps sinensis Cs-4 Mushroom Mycelia; 2) Pharmanex Asian Ginseng Rb1 (Panax ginseng) Root Extract -- a proprietary ginseng extract with a balance of biological activity not found in other ginseng extracts; and 3) a unique, patented pomegranate extract (Punica granatum).

Not so bad, right? It has pomegranate! I started taking my sample bottle, which would have cost me about $66.50 through a distributor, about five days ago. Within two days, I noticed a big shift in my sex drive, so much so that my husband said he wanted to take them, too. Since this is a sex experiment, not a health one, that actually makes a lot of sense.

Besides having a higher sex drive and being a little more into it and focused while we are mid-session, I can't say I've noticed that much of a difference yet, though the product is supposed to kick in after two weeks (and right now we only have a two-week supply for two people). Yesterday I even fell asleep in the early evening for a little nap, which makes me officially MORE tired than usual (I never nap). So, that's that. I will report back in the middle and then at the end and let you know if it works.

If it does, then we can all rejoice in the miracle fountain of youth together. If not, well, we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Would you try something like this?
