It’s official. Jesse James and girlfriend Kat Von D are engaged.
And James is now proclaiming that 2010 was the best year of his life. Really? Cheating on Sandra Bullock and getting another divorce helped to constitute the best year of his life?
Does anyone else see multiple red flags?
James and Von D's romance has been a whirlwind, to say the least.
This time last year, James was still with his second ex-wife, Bullock, celebrating the acclaim she was receiving for her starring role in the The Blind Side. But a few months later, Bullock was blind-sided when their marriage fell apart after allegations of James’ cheating were made public.
James and Von D started dating last summer, less than three months after James’ divorce was finalized. And their engagement is not surprising based on their recent romantic tweets, effusively exclaiming their love for one another and how much they were missing each other while apart for a few days.
So romantic. It reminds me of the Renee Zellweger and Tom Cruise characters in the movie Jerry Maguire: "You complete me." They sound like true soulmates. At least on Twitter.
But with all of that talk about not being able to spend another minute apart from each other, the newly engaged Von D says that she won't be moving from her base of Los Angeles to James' home in Austin, Texas, but that "home is where the heart is." Given his relationship history, she might want to re-think that.
