Does music turn you on? A certain song, a particular artist, or even just a type of rhythm? Music is a powerful mood setter. It can make you want to dance, sing, and even get it on.
So my eyes just about popped out of my head when I read about what this sex toy can do.
On day 7 of the 12 Days of Orgasm, I want to introduce you to OhMiBod's Naughtibod ($59) vibrator.
Naughtibod is the first vibe I've ever seen that melds together two mood altering occurrences: listening to music and pleasuring yourself.
How the heck do they do that?
With today's technology, it seems that anything is possible.
The Naughtibod works by plugging it into your personal music source, whether it's your iPod, iPhone, or other MP3 player or smartphone. Using the included 3-foot cord, you plug one end into the vibe and the other end, with an attached splitter, into your music player and your earphones.
Then you get the music playing.
The first time I tried it, I just scrolled through the music on my iPod, picked a tune, and adjusted the volume for each song. The second time, I made a playlist in advance. Having the playlist was much better.
And with a little experimentation, I found that I liked songs with a real strong beat. "American Boy" by Estelle and featuring Kanye West was a real hit. Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was not.
And the Naughtibod is really like getting two vibes for the price of one. Because if you don't feel like listening to the music while you enjoy yourself, you can use one of the seven pre-programmed vibration patterns.
The vibe itself is smooth and curvy and has a nice knobby feel to it. Add to all of this the fact that it comes in eight colors and is phthalate-free, and you've got yourself a really different, and fun, toy.
Then you can be like Madonna singing in "Vogue": "Let your body groove to the music."
And keep following along with our ongoing 12 Days of Orgasm list.
Disclosure: I received a free Naughtibod vibrator sample to review.
