Wrapped presentOn the first day of Christmas, my true lover gave to me ... an orgasm. On the second day, another one. And again on the third.

For the next 12 days, I’ll be reviewing -- yep, you guessed it -- the hottest sex toys!

I've spent the last couple of weeks doing some research, looking for what’s new and exciting, in all senses of the word, in the world of sex toys. Testing them out. And then testing them out again.

How did I get so lucky?

And now I'm going to share what I've learned with you. One day at a time. There will be something for everybody. Twelve toys to help give the gift of orgasm to the ones you love and even to put on your own wish list.

First up -- the Vibrating Tri-Phoria from Trojan Vibrations ($39.99).

Vibrating Tri-Phoria

The name Tri-Phoria refers in part to the three easily interchangeable silicone tips that come with the vibe: a soft domed one, a soft tongue-shaped flickering one, and a hard, nubby one. Three different shapes, three very different feelings.

The shape of the base of this battery-operated vibrator, called an intimate massager by Trojan, is great. It fits nicely in your hand and is easy to get a grip on. And it feels solid, like you're holding on to something hard.

On the bottom of the vibrator are the controls. Actually two buttons: The plus sign turns it on and each subsequent push of the button takes you through the 5 different speeds and the 3 different pulse settings. The minus sign scrolls you back down through the different variations in order to turn the vibrator off.

If you combine the three heads and different pulse or speed options, there are actually 24 different experiences you can have. Not bad for the price. Not to mention that it's waterproof and easy to clean. Two key attributes.

One issue? Changing the speeds and pulses mid-use takes a little dexterity. With practice, I got better. So don’t give up. A varied experience is a better one.

Overall, the Tri-Phoria is cute, handy, and powerful enough for use as an external vibe. I also like that it comes with a little satin pouch for discreet storage.

Would you give this vibe as a stocking stuffer?
