Courteney Cox has made it clear that she and hubby David Arquette are just separated. She recently told People:
This is a separation, and I think that takes a lot of courage. Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.
Separated. Not divorced. Let's be clear on that, people.
Not wanting to be the bitch that broke Cupid's arrow, but according to stats, they only stand about a 50-50 chance of making it work.
Statistical data shows that 44% of today's divorces began with those very lines that Courteney is now uttering: It's just a trial run. We need space. We just need to figure out what's best for our family.
Next thing you know it, that whopping 44% were signing divorce papers.
And throw in the fact that ol' Dave is tweeting his every hook-up and all Courteney has to say about it is "David's a kook." A kook?! Really?! Not exactly the terminology I would use for my cheating husband. Which leads me to believe she's getting her own action on the side as well.
I'm all for trying every option before signing the irrevocable divorce papers, but a separation should be used to work on whatever issues you as an individual are dealing with, a timeout if you will. Not a free pass to work on, well, other partners.
Sorry Court, but I'm putting my money on the big D.
Do you think Courteney Cox and David Arquette will end up getting a divorce?
