Crystal Bowersox isn't the only celebrity who chose Sunday, October 10, 2010 to exchange marriage vows. My guess? They're hoping that the once-in-a-millennium date is a lucky one to tie the knot.
Here's a roundup of I dos:
Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable and actress Odette Yustman were married yesterday in Ojai. California. The couple have been dating for two and a half years. The ceremony was officiated Annable's co-star Ron Rifkin, and Matthew Rhys, who plays Annable's brother on the show, was best man.
Alexa Vega, star of the Spy Kids movies, got hitched to Napoleon Dynamite producer Sean Cove. Wilmer Valderrama was among the guests that watched Spy Kids director Robert Rodriguez walk Vega down the aisle.
And of course, Crystal Bowersox. After a whirlwind courtship and engagement, the American Idol finalist exchanged vows with musician Brian Walker in Chicago.
Celebrities aren't the only ones who wanted to get married on that date. Online wedding sites The Knot and WeddingChannel.com have more than 33,000 pairs registered for the date ... 28,000 more than the norm.
And about 200 weddings were on the books at just one wedding chapel in Las Vegas: Vegas Weddings. One newlywed thinks she knows the reason and it's a simple one: the date is easy to remember.
What do you think? Did these celebs purposely choose 10/10/10 as their wedding date?
