Having kids and making love last is not always a walk in the park. So we've decided to highlight those lovebirds who've managed to make it work. Please meet Vickie, aka LeapDayMommy, and her husband Andrew -- their marriage is a good example of how the best relationships stem from friendships.

How did you meet? We've known each other since high school, became best friends in 2000, started officially dating in '02, and then got married in '05.

Was it love at first sight? We were just friends for a really long time, but there was always something there.

What was the courtship like? It was awesome. We were young, didn't really have any major responsibilities yet, so we had a lot of fun. We went to a lot of places and spent a lot of money. Then I got pregnant, so we had to grow up really quick.

Do you have a special song? Yes, it's called "Ordinary People" by John Legend. We were having some issues at one point shortly after my son was born and that song kind of brought us back together.

What's the most romantic thing he's ever done for you? When he proposed. I used to always get the stuff in the quarter machines, and over time, he started bringing me random stuff home when he had passed one of those machines. So when he proposed, he put the ring in one and that's how he gave it to me.

What are your favorite quirks about each other? Vickie: He is protective of everyone!
Andrew: When we're sleeping, she has to have three points of contact with me at all times.

If you could change one thing about each other, what would it be? Vickie: He has narcolepsy. I wish he didn't have to deal with that.
Andrew: I wish she was a little more adventurous.

What's the sexiest thing about your partner? Vickie: His arms ... I'm all about muscular arms.
Andrew: I really like her eyes.

How are the in-laws? We get along as much as we have to. His mother is pretty crazy, and he admits that himself, but we all seem to manage!

How has your life changed since your son Ayden (6) was born? Everything revolves around him. He is definitely the center of our universe.

Is there anything that you do now that you thought you'd never do? I have absolutely become my mother. It used to be all about me but now my life revolves around my family and I do anything and everything to make them happy.

How do you keep the romance alive? We laugh. All the time. And we try to do things together without our son, even if it's just going to the grocery store.
