States with amicable divorcesIf you're thinking of ending your marriage, believe it or not, where you live may be an indicator of how contentious dissolving your union could become. Divorce center Complete Case analyzed where in America divorce is most amicable and ranked the states accordingly.

When it comes to parting ways and dividing up assets, things often take an ugly turn. But in some states, divorces are uncontested and former spouses even remain friends, according to Complete Case.

We've seen plenty of Hollywood stars "consciously uncouple," so let's take a look and see if the Golden State is among the most amicable divorce states

29. Ohio

The Buckeye State comes in at No. 9 on the list of most amicable divorces. Maybe it's the good Midwestern values that keep couples from feuding.

38. Delaware

The First State comes in at No. 8 on the list. Divorced Teen Mom reality stars live just blocks apart in Delaware, making it easy to parent their son.
