Demi Lovato Is Cool With Your Thinking She May Be Bisexual

Folks are wondering, is Demi Lovato bisexual? I don't know, maybe? She hinted as much in an interview with British TV host Alan Carr when he asked her about her song, "Cool for the Summer." Demi sure sounds like she's cool for girls.

Carr referred to the song's lyrics, like "Tell me what you want, what you like, it's okay / I'm a little curious, too," and "Got a taste for the cherry / I just need to take a bite." Lesbian much, Ms. Lovato?

"I'm not confirming and I'm definitely not denying," Lovato replied. "All my songs are based on personal experiences. I don't think there's anything wrong with experimentation at all." No need to be so coy! It sure sounds like confirmation that she's experimented at least.

At least Lovato didn't play the "excuse me, but did you not notice the very hetero relationship I have with my boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama?" It's a smart response because when celebs insist on how straight they are it often comes across as protesting too much, know what I mean?

In fact, being strictly straight almost seems square for female celebs lately. All the cool kids (Miley Sure Why Not Cyrus) are flexible at the very least and many refuse to be tied down by labels. I'm not confirming and I'm definitely not denying that writing a song about experimenting with your sexuality is a savvy career move. That is, if you're female.

Imagine if Justin Bieber admitted he likes experimenting with men. Women who play both sides get a pretty warm welcome, but guys? Not so much, especially if they're famous. There's still some pressure to pick one team or another, and that's too bad.
