Did Cheating Drive Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Apart -- Or Was It Baby Talk?

The ink isn't dry yet on Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton's divorce, and already rumors or infidelity are swirling. TMZ claims Shelton filed after learning Lambert cheated with two different men. But that's not all tabloids are claiming broke these two apart.

Supposedly Lambert had a fling with fellow country singer Chris Young, who opened for her tour a couple years ago. But the real zinger, according to the insider speaking to TMZ, was a more recent fling with "some other guy," an unnamed man who is not a performer.

Meanwhile, New York Post's Page Six says Lambert and Shelton divorced because she doesn't want kids and he does. "He is eager to have children, but she really enjoys not being tied down," their source says. "I think they both were off on what the time frame would be."

The source goes on to say that her busy touring schedule was also a problem. "They are never together, and he was wanting them to move close to being together." But Lambert likes being able to tour and record albums whenever she wants.

Well! Whether or not the infidelity rumors are true (and we sure hope they're false), it does sound like Lambert and Shelton wanted different things out of their relationship. And surprise! This time it's the guy who wants to settle down and build a stable family life, and the woman who wants to sow her wild oats. It just goes to show how outdated those stereotypes are.

Isn't it funny, though, that it's the free-spirited Lambert who's collected 15 rescue animals? I mean, what's with the zoo, if you don't want to be tied down? The source speaking to TMZ says she has until Monday to get her animals off Shelton's Oklahoma farm -- hopefully she has room at her Nashville home.
