Bride Photobombed Walking Down the Aisle in Wildest Wedding Picture Yet (PHOTO)

brideIt's a bird! It's a plane! It's some crazy guy leaping between buildings to photobomb a bride at her wedding

Redditor and groom mattyglen87 shared this pic of his new wife being escorted to the altar by his dad at their wedding in Santorini, Greece, last week. (The bride's dad was unable to travel overseas, the groom explained.)

The festivities just happened to coincide with the island's Red Bull Art of Motion freerunning competition. How's that for timing?

Can you imagine walking down the aisle on one of the most special days of your life when a full-grown topless man goes flying by right over your head? I've heard of releasing doves into the air at a ceremony, but just what is this guy up to?

And just what is freerunning, you ask? It's commonly referred to as "urban acrobatics" -- participants vault, climb, and flip over objects in their path, rather than simply walking around them.

It's not a sport for the faint of heart, but neither is marriage, so maybe this photo captures perfectly the art of "taking a leap" that getting married represents.

Would I put this shot on my mantle if I were the bride? Probably not. But I'd definitely include it in the wedding album and show it to everyone I know!

Photobombing seems to be the latest trend in wedding photography, as you may have noticed. Even the animal kingdom wants to get in on the fun. Just recently, a herd of deer crashed a wedding, and then a bull stopped by a photo shoot in Australia, no doubt heightening the wedding day jitters for the happy couple!

In this latest incident, the new husband took the surprise in stride -- but said he wished he and his bride had been given a bit of notice about the competition.

"Although it didn't impact the wedding in a negative way at all, I think the venue should've let us know," the groom wrote on Reddit.

Would the couple have changed the date? Who knows, but if they did, they wouldn't have this amazing picture clearly illustrating that sometimes you have to jump into marriage with both feet and arms outstretched.

What's the wildest wedding photo you've ever seen?
