'Blood Moon' Love Horoscopes: What the Lunar Eclipse Means for Your Sign

The last one, as you may remember, was back on April 15, but this time, it'll appear 5.3 percent larger in the sky, according to NASA. Wow.

It's also in the fire sign Aries, opposite the sun in Libra -- the sign of partnership -- which is sure to create palatable intensity today and for months after. So beware!

But naturally, what you really want to know is how this fiery full moon will affect your love life. Will it bring out the romance -- or the claws? Thanks to years of studying and writing about astrology professionally, I have the answers you're looking for! Here, my predictions for how the powerful lunar energy will impact your relationship, depending on your sun sign.

Aries (Mar. 21–Apr. 19)
With the full moon eclipse in your sign, you could be feeling more independent-minded than usual. That means any constraints you may feel your spouse is putting on you are magnified now. But while the full moon is opposing the sun and Venus in your seventh house of partnership, you'll do best to try to strike a balance between defending your personal needs and doing what you need to do to create accord in your relationship.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
For you, feeling the need to take a time-out all by yourself (think taking a yoga class) would be a perfectly normal response to this full moon eclipse. That's because it falls in your twelfth house, which rules the subconscious mind, dreams, and spirituality. As a result, you may want spend some time reflecting on how your partnership relates to the big picture of your life and your goals.

Gemini (May 21–June 20)
You're naturally a social butterfly, so it's good news that this full moon eclipse is landing in your eleventh house of friendship and networking. You might want to go on a group date with your spouse or enjoy some other sort of spontaneous get-together with friends or coworkers. The name of the game for you is how you and your man fit into your community and what kind of support you feel from others.

Cancer (June 21–July 22)
You may feel like it's especially tough to strike that elusive work-life balance right now. That's because the full moon eclipse is landing in your tenth house, which rules career, and is opposing Venus and the sun in your fourth house, which rules home life. Because you're so innately attuned to all things domestic and maternal -- not to mention that your sign is ruled by the moon -- you'll be able to navigate any related conflict by letting your heart and intuition be your guide.

Leo (July 23–Aug. 22)
If matters of the heart have felt a bit monotonous lately, you'll probably start thinking of ways to shake things up and inject a bit of drama (which you can't get enough of!). That's because this full moon eclipse is firing up your ninth house, which rules adventure, philosophy, and expanding the mind. The key, though, will be to speak up to your spouse about how you want to learn and grow, because Venus and the sun are now in your third house of communication.

Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22)
Two words for you: date night. You may be craving alone, intimate time with your spouse, because the full moon eclipse is lighting up your eighth house, which rules sex and emotional bonding. You'll want to make it a priority to squeeze that together time in, especially because makin' a living (Venus and the sun are both in your second house, which is all about cash-ola) could feel like it's getting in the way more than usual now.

Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 22)
No sign may feel this full moon eclipse more intensely in their love life than you, because not only are Venus and the sun in your sign right now, but the full moon eclipse is landing in your seventh house of partnership. If anything has been feeling out of whack in your relationship, it's time to get it back on track. But instead of being baited into an emotional blow-up, tapping into diplomacy (thankfully, your specialty) is the best way to accomplish that.

Scorpio (Oct. 23–Nov. 21)
Your everyday schedule may be weighing on your mind and either enhancing or impeding on romance right now, thanks to the full moon eclipse falling in your sixth house of routine and health. Trying some of mind-body practice (like meditation) together may be one way to get out of the daily grind with your guy. Or even taking a time-out to talk about your long-term aspirations can rejuvenate your connection and chemistry.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)
Lucky you! The full moon eclipse is in your fifth house, which rules romance, children, and creativity. If you've had a big idea about how you can spice things up in your relationship, it's time to play that card. But try not to plan too much, because embracing spontaneity (especially thanks to the moon pairing up with Uranus, the planet that creates change out of the blue!) will be the key to seeing sparks fly.   

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Watch out for possible unrest on your homefront, because the full moon eclipse is affecting your fourth house of domestic affairs. This may be particularly stressful, because your focus may be more on work right now, with Venus and the sun both in your tenth house of career. But exploring how to best strike a balance between these two important aspects of your life will serve you especially well in the weeks and months ahead.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You generally don't have a problem sticking to the facts, but if you've been elusive about your emotions with your spouse, you'll have no choice but to speak up and be direct now that the full moon eclipse is in your third house of communication. Because of its opposition to Venus and the sun in your ninth house of adventure, there's certainly a connection between opening up, and seeing doors open up for you. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
If you and your spouse have been avoiding an important conversation about cash flow, now's the time to get down to brass tacks, because the full moon eclipse is in your second house of income. Plus, it is opposing Venus and the sun in your eighth house, which rules sexual intimacy. So while handling fiscal affairs may be feel thoroughly un-sexy, it might be something you need to tend to before you can zero in on together time with your guy.
