Jeff Goldblum Stars in Epic 'Jurassic Park' Wedding Portrait (PHOTO)

jurassic wedding photo jeff goldblumLet's just say you're having a wedding and your friend the actor Jeff Goldblum is going to be there. It's quite obvious what this situation calls for: A Jurassic-themed wedding portrait with Jeff Goldblum and your guests running for their lives behind a charging Tyrannosaurus Rex. How could you resist?

So that's exactly what Pamela and Jesse Sargent did. Photographer Adam Biesenthal confirmed to The Stir that it was really Golblum at the wedding -- but he couldn't divulge details about how he got the dinosaur in the picture. (I suspect they're trying to keep the dino's current whereabouts a secret.) Anyhoo, here's the photo.

Awwwwwsome!

This is about as wild as wedding photos get, my friends. No one's eyes are going to glaze over when presented with this baby framed on the mantel.

Goldblum's fiance, Emilie Livingston, is friends with the bride. I mention that just in case you were wondering how you, too, might entice him into attending your wedding.

Photographer Biesenthal told Huffington Post that Goldblum is "a very cool guy, who when the groom asked him to do this shot, he enthusiastically agreed and, as one commenter mentioned, was the only one who really got into character (aside from the one groomsman on the right). Everyone else kept smiling the whole time!" You've gotta love that freaking-out groomsman. But I think a couple of the bridesmaids were great sports for running in their fancy heels in the grass. Have you ever tried doing that?!? Not easy.

You could consider this merry portrait a metaphor for marriage. Why? Because it's scary as hell, and maybe you should run away. Run, Dr. Malcolm, RUN!

I'm kidding. You shouldn't run away. Marriage is not as scary as a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

What do you think of this wedding portrait? Would you have gone for something Life Aquatic-themed instead?
