Shia LaBeouf Will Be Having Actual, Real Sex in His New Movie (VIDEO)

shia labeoufShia LaBeouf is starring in a new movie. The name of this movie is The Nymphomaniac. And in this movie the actor will be having full-on, actual sex. Not simulated sex where he's wearing some flesh-colored Hollywood sock, honest-to-goodness intercourse. And his girlfriend is supposedly pissed.

Aw, dry your eye, honey. Your man is only sticking it in "for his craft."

LeBeouf's girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, was snapped over the weekend in tears while the two argued, but she denies that her boyfriend's getting to sleep with another woman has anything to do with it. She told the New York Daily News, "It's none of anybody's business. Everything is fine with us. It was nothing affiliated with his movie." Um, yeah, okay. Sure it's not.

The director of the movie is Lars von Trier, who you may know as the writer of the aptly-titled, almost-unbearably depressing movie Melancholia. Apparently, von Trier will shoot two versions of The Nymphomaniac -- one explicit, one ... less explicit. The film follows a woman who "discovers her hidden erotic desires." Shia told MTV News: "There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

Look, I'm all for being artsy and making people uncomfortable with your movies -- that's part of what makes art art. But is it really necessary to have actual sex? I mean, there are already movies in which actual sex takes place. They're called porn.

This isn't the first time incredibly risque acts have taken place in the name of art. Remember when Chloe Sevigny gave Vincent Gallo a blow job in that little-remembered movie The Brown Bunny? That was cool. Or not.

Whatever. If von Trier thinks there needs to be real sex in his movie to make it authentic, so be it. But I definitely don't think Shia's girlfriend is cool with it.
