The Color Red Is All You Need to Spice Up Your Sex Life

mannequinn wearing redAttention single ladies! Forget those dating sites or asking friends to hook you up with the hot guy they work with -- all you need to meet a man are red clothes. Sure the men you meet may just see you are really interested in having sex, so keep that in mind and prepare accordingly. A recent study says we can blame biology for this red attraction -- apparently when primates are fertile, the increased estrogen makes their faces turn red and the male primates know it's time to get funky. This is passed to us humans.

Oh really! Single ladies aren't the only ones who can benefit from this finding. For any mamas wanting to have another baby, all you need to do is get yourself a red nightie. Or just a red cotton t-shirt and matching red cotton undies -- it doesn't matter what it is, as long as it's the color of love. Or if your husband is a little too tired after work to get frisky, just put on red ... it's supposedly like Viagra!

Adam Pazda is a psychologist at the University of Rochester in New York and author of this study. He revealed that when they showed 25 men a photo of a single woman in a red t-shirt and then a white t-shirt and asked them "Is she interested in sex?" the men felt the woman in red was more down to ... well, DTF. So it gets the guys all excited.

Of course if you aren't into having your guy (or worse, a stranger) get all pokey with you, wearing red can be dangerous. Don't want to have sex? Avoid the color red at all costs. This also goes for red lipstick and red nail polish -- heck, red wine! -- just to be sure.

I'm not so sure about this red thing ... I mean I get the biology of it but we have evolved. We're not primates anymore (well most of us aren't). And a study of just 25 men? I want to know more about these men in the study. Red is the most horrible color on me so I'd like to know what they would think about me in red and then me in ... not red. Wait. I'm married. Never mind. But maybe the woman they showed in red and not red just so happened to look better in red. Studies. Can't trust them, but we can have fun with them. And hey, if some men happen to feel a woman is interested in sex when she's wearing red and that woman and man want to have sex ... something good is going to come of it.

Come to think of it, I think we are just all so brainwashed that red is the color of love and lust -- Valentine's day is full of red, hearts are red, roses are red -- so red must be a green light to sex. Wear it to get your man intrigued. Wear it to get lucky. Wear it with caution.

What do you think of this study? Do you think the color red makes people sexier or seem more into getting frisky?
