Hell Hath No Fury Like a Divorced Man With a Blog

psycho ex wifeHow does that song go? First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage? Well if this Bucks County, Pennsylvania couple's love story had a second verse, theirs would go something like: then comes divorce, then comes custody battle, then comes the husband's blog about his evil ex-wife, then comes the lawsuit in the lawsuit carriage. Forty-two-year-old Anthony Morelli started ThePsychoExWife.com to blast his ex-wife, and a judge has recently ruled that he needs to take it down.

Ah, sweet sweet love. While Morelli may be down, he isn't out: This stand-up guy is appealing the judge's order claiming that the ruling prohibits his free speech.

The couple has two sons together, ages 10 and 12, but I think Anthony's totally forgotten about them and is really spending all his energy getting back at his ex, and getting his way with his blog.

At what point does someone stop loving someone and start hating them so much? He married her after all, is she really that bad? The hate that has consumed Morelli is alarming and destructive. If he can't even see, even the littlest bit, why his blog is a bad idea, then I think we've lost him for good.

I'll stay away from the legal issues here because I think there are deeper problems. Sure, he may be Constitutionally empowered to blog all day long about his former flame, but it doesn't make it right, or OK, or even mildly tolerable. He's only looking out for himself and is willing to destroy his family before he destroys his blog.

But fear not, he's started a new site, SaveThePsychoExWife.com, where you can donate to his cause. Fighting for the right to bash your ex-wife is not cheap, apparently.

I think we've all been tempted to slander someone who's done us wrong, but most of us know that that only makes us look bad, not the other person. Whatever Morelli's ex may have done, she's looking like the winner in this lose-lose situation. Pretty sad.

Have you ever publicly bashed your ex to get revenge?
