If you thought the dumbest thing LeAnn Rimes ever did was cheat on her husband Dean Sheremet with Eddie Cibrian, and break up his marriage with Brandi Glanville, you are sorely mistaken, my friend. Because now, LeAnn wants you to feel bad for her because she simply was never taught how to not cheat. Poor thing.
The country star recently told Us Weekly:
I know I didn't do it the right way. I didn't have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way. I'd never been taught that.
Oh, my brain is spinning in so many directions right now! The jokes I could make! The jabs I could take! Where to begin? Where to begin? Gahh! Okay, inhale in ... aaaand deep breath out ... ahhh. Okay. How about using common sense, you ... special, special lady?
But, before we even discuss the idiocracy of her comment, let's all take a moment of silence for her publicist and the nonsense story he or she is going to have to spew to spin this one, staaarting ... now! Five, four, three, two, and we're back!
Okay, so it's not me, right? I mean, it is kind of crazy to expect to be taught how to end a marriage, right? And it's equally crazy to think that an appropriate way (despite your lack of tutelage) is to sleep with your costar and get caught by paparazzi, correct? I'd imagine people have a hard time finding a way to break the news to their spouse that they've fallen for someone else, but usually it's the kind of thing that they just wing, no?
This is sophomoric stuff here, LeAnn. Clearly you're not mature enough to be married, let alone have an affair. I mean, if you're going to cheat, at least go Brad and Angelina style, and own that stuff. End your marriage, then get together publicly with your new partner, surround yourselves by a tiny army of toddlers, and become Hollywood's new golden couple. None of this sneaking around stuff, followed by, "Oh, I didn't know what I was doing! My mommy never taught little ol' me that! Tee-hee!" Because not only do you sound like an idiot when you say that, you look like one, too.
I guess the only good thing that's come from LeAnn's insano comments is that when she and Eddie break up (most likely due to philandering), she will, like, totally know how to deal.
What do you think of LeAnn's comments? And her cheating in general?
