Scarlett Johansson & Her Steamy Fling With MUCH Older Man

Sean Penn Scarlett Johansson

Look who's having a fling!

Rumor has it that Scarlett Johansson, 26, is having a little fling with actor Sean Penn, 50. Oh wow, this is so incredibly wrong, it's right.

I totally get it, ScarJo. Sean Penn is hot to trot! He's smart, good looking, an amazing actor, a political activist, and a philanthropist to boot. That's pretty steamy. Add on that he's an older man and hubba hubba. Scarlett probably near exploded after being married to the supremely dull Ryan Reynolds for all that time and then having a single conversation with the intense and intelligent Mr. Penn. She probably didn't know what hit her.

But what's Sean Penn getting out of the fling -- well, besides the obvious and gorgeous thing?

Scarlett is young and beautiful. I get that. I'm not that dumb. However, how long can you sustain a relationship on gorgeous -- although she does seem a little intense herself. Maybe that helps. Or maybe there's not a whole lot of talking even going on. Who cares? These are the things the best flings are made of -- bad timing, unexplained attraction, and sheer intensity.

Is it getting warm in here or is it me?

Scarlett Johansson announced her split from husband Ryan Reynolds in mid-December, and Sean Penn split from Robin Wright, his wife of 14 years, back in August. A source tells Us Weekly that Sean and Scarlett started a fling in early January when she was staying at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont while filming We Bought a Zoo. The US Weekly source says:

Their first hook-up was in Scarlett's Bungalow. Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam. She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice. Scarlett's smitten with him.

Oh boy! I bet she is. I sure hope Scarlett's not headed for heartbreak and that the fling thing works out well for them both. I have to admit, it's pretty dang hot when you think about it.

What do you think of Sean Penn dating Scarlett Johansson? So what, they're adults? Or just wrong?
