March 15 is a big day at The Stir! It's the day we turn 4 years old! (It's our birthday! It's our birthday!) Thanks to all of you, we've grown so much over the past year. And with you, we've LOL'd, OMG'd, and WOW'd over everything that's been going on in the world and at home -- from the new Pope to the Royal Baby to our own babies. You've been with us every step of the way, telling us exactly what you think of us. The Good, the bad, and yes, the ugly. We wouldn't have it any other way.

So like last year, when we celebrated our third birthday by recounting our most memorable reader comments, our writers are once again sharing their most favorite interesting comments. Enjoy!

Good gracious, can you believe that 2014 is upon us?? I can't, but maybe my mind is slipping. So much that the next time I have a dinner party, I'll put little stars and hearts next to the guests I like the most (ahem, Yolanda Foster). This week, there's drama from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and my top five television moments of 2013!

From awe-inspiring photos of a baby born in an amniotic sac or unretouched moms' bodies to blood-boiling news about a mom being thrown out of a water park for being too "full-figured" to controversy-spawning breastfeeding tales galore, 2013 was a year busting at the seams with stories that made our hearts pound, melt, and just about everything in between! With only a matter of days to go before we ring in 2014, we thought this past unforgettable year called for a round-up and review.

People who aren't fans of country music tend to think all of the tracks are twangy odes to drinkin', women, dancin', drivin' (typically Chevys, Silverados, or just a generic pick-up truck), and romancin' by a river under the moonlight. Meanwhile, those who are fans of country music might have to agree -- begrudgingly -- that A LOT of the most popular country tunes are the same old crap over and over again! (Not that it's not fun-to-listen-to crap on occasion.)

And that's exactly what EW country music writer Grady Smith was trying to say by making a really funny, on-point supercut of some of 2013's biggest country music tracks. He fully admits he was inspired to make it after naming the 10 Best Country Albums of 2013 and fielding commenters' complaints that his choices weren't mainstream enough. Well, here's the problem with the top 40, radio faves ...

Ever since Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev split up, we've been waiting for this day to arrive: The day we see Ian with a new woman. But we had no idea it would be so soon. Just last night, Ian Somerhalder left a club with a woman, and they seemed to be having a very good time. We're biting our lips here -- who is she?!?

We don't know. All we know is that he had dinner last night with his father at the Groucho Club in London -- and then he was photographed leaving with this woman wrapped around his arm. But let's take a closer look. I'm not so sure this is a new girlfriend we're looking at.

The State of the Union Address 2013 was on tonight, but if you missed it, have no fear -- I’m here to recap it for you. It can be hard to keep everything the president says straight, especially when he says things that directly contradict with other things he’s said or done in the past. So just for fun, let’s take some of his best lines of the night and match them up against his record, shall we?

There were too many shady statements to mention them all here or I’d bore you as silly as if you had actually watched the speech. For the sake of brevity, let’s just go over the top 13 things he said that made me snicker, guffaw, or face-palm.

I'm not sure what made 2012 most remarkable: the presidential election, Superstorm Sandy, the Mars Rover, or dip-dyed celebrity hair. It was, indeed, a banner year for some terrible hairstyle decisions -- stars just couldn't get enough of rainbow hues, old lady hues, and curling irons.

While there were some celebrities who managed to keep it together this year (Gwyneth Paltrow had great hair in 2012, as did Miley Cyrus) there were a handful who just couldn't resist messing with a good thing. Here are the 5 worst celeb hairdos of 2012.

Hey, RPattz and Twilight fans, here's a bit of news that might make your day (even your year). Robert Pattinson was just named E!'s celebrity of the year! And it wasn't a panel of "experts" who picked him for this, er, extremely coveted title -- it was you! Yep, you!

E! began with 64 stars, and then over the last five weeks, the fans narrowed down the list to pick the ultimate winner. Two hotties who are best known for playing vampires were the finalists: RPattz, obviously, and Ian Somerhalder, best known for playing Damon Salvatore on Vampire Diaries. Yet again, it seems that vampires have ruled another year of our entertainment lives.

Not only that, Robert has won this title three years in a row. Can't say much for fans' originality, but it goes to show what kind of staying power Rob has. So, just for kicks, let's take a look back at RPattz 2012!

The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary is freshest on our minds, of course, but this was the year when 672 of the 715 children reported missing to the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children disappeared here in the United States. From baby Ayla Reynolds to Iowa cousins Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, we have spent countless hours tied to our computer screens willing miracles to happen, for little ones to be reunited with their distraught parents.

Wonder what has happened to them? Here's a look at the latest on the cases that made us hug our own little ones closer in 2012:
