Commuters who were waiting to catch the SEPTA at a train station in West Philadelphia witnessed a terrifying sight yesterday when they saw a baby stroller fall onto the tracks after rolling off the platform.

Yep -- this really happened. A mom was waiting for the train with her baby strapped into a jogging stroller, when she somehow became distracted -- and it slowly rolled right to the edge and toppled over onto the tracks.

And what the mom did after realizing what happened really shouldn't surprise any parent.

I think we all have hangups, particularly when it comes to our bodies. We think our belly is too jiggly, our butt too squishy, boobs too floppy, whatever too whatever-y. And that affects our sex life. If we're not confident with our bodies, how can we be confident rolling around naked with another naked body? It's why some will only have sex with the lights off or with a shirt on. But interestingly, while our bodies may have been firmer, smaller, or some twisted form of what we thought was better back in our 20s, our sex lives get better as we age.

Burn that into your brains 20-somethings! Old people sex is hot! They don't call it your dirty 30s for nothing. And while we're at it, let's call the next decades the f*&king fabulous 40s and 50s. A new study gives us proof and explanation of these totally sexy and exciting details on why we shouldn't fear getting older.

I'm not sure what a baby breastfeeding has to do with older women dating younger men, but the idiotic dating site CougarLife.com seems to think there's a connection. The site, which hooks up older women (or "cougars") with young cubs, has a billboard in Los Angeles advertising its services with a picture of a woman breastfeeding a baby who, via painted thought bubble, is asking readers, "Jealous?"

One month after bombs shattered the euphoria at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, investigators say suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev wrote a note on the wall of the boat he was hiding in before he surrendered to police on April 19. Scrawled in pen, his message—and the makeshift dry board he scribbled it on—were riddled with bullet holes. He himself was bleeding from gunshot wounds he sustained during an earlier shootout between police and his older brother, Tamerlan, the accused co-conspirator in the attacks that senselessly killed three and injured 264. Even down to what could’ve very well been his last moments, Tsarnaev was passionate in his zealotry and dedicated to his cause. And he fired off a whole mini-manifesto about it.

Mikaela Lynch, the 9-year-old severely autistic girl who had gone missing from her family's yard on Mother's Day, has been found. She was reportedly found drowned in a lake near the family home in Clearlake, California. It took divers several days to find her due to the dark, muddy waters of the lake in which her body was recovered. Police said they do not suspect foul play. Her parents have not yet made a statement, but I can only imagine their devastation. The girl, who could not speak and was said to have the mental abilities of a 1-year-old, had run off after she was playing in the enclosed yard with her younger brother.

As a mom, I can't imagine the horror of finding the limp bodies of your two beautiful babies floating in a swimming pool. Panic? Shock? One would think the first priority of any parent would be to call 911 immediately, which is what makes the reaction of Tassie Anne Behrens of La Mesa, California, so difficult to understand. The 26-year-old mom woke up Monday morning at the home of a friend where she'd been staying for several days and walked outside to find her 2-year-old son Jason Bradford and 16-month-old daughter Harley Bradford in the pool. The children were unresponsive when pulled out of the water, so Behrens and a "man who lived at the house" reportedly put the babies in a black truck "with the intention of taking them to the hospital" -- but they didn't take them to the hospital. Instead, they took the kids to La Mesa fire station. WHAT?!

What you are about to read will make you rethink the merits of being a good Samaritan. A gang of kids wielding skateboards nearly beat 25-year-old Viktor Silcock to death the other day in Huntington Beach, California. His crime? Trying to break up a fight!

And as if the story weren't shocking enough ...

We've seen a few stories about transgender children who feel strongly about dressing and living as the opposite gender they were supposedly born as. But what about children with an intersex condition -- kids born with the genitalia of both genders? Who gets to decide what their gender is, and when? One couple is suing their state social services for deciding that for their adopted son when he was just a toddler.

Mark and Pam Crawford say that their son, now 8, wants to live as a boy. But before they adopted him, when he was 16 months old, South Carolina Social Services gave the child sexual reassignment surgery that made him a girl. The suit calls it "dangerous and mutilating surgery" that took away the child's right to choose his own gender.

When four horrifying videos, featuring a middle-aged man sexually assaulting a young girl believed to be between 7 and 9 years old, hit the Internet on May 2, Danish police who discovered the clips contacted U.S. authorities. They knew the videos were taken in April, but they couldn't be sure in what country they were filmed. Until they spotted a seemingly innocuous detail in the background: A pretzel bag!

Authorities say they believe the acts were committed here in the States, because a Frito-Lay Rold Gold bag of thin pretzels appears in the videos, and that particular packaging is made only in the U.S. Canada's pretzels have different packaging and French language descriptions. Crazy, huh?

I was as surprised as anyone when Jada Pinkett Smith's son, Jaden, asked to be an emancipated minor when he turns 15. You would think he would LOVE living with two of the coolest parents in the world! It's not like his parents are like Ariel Winter's mom. But it also got me wondering what the laws are about emancipation. How does this all work, anyway? Can a kid and his parents just ... you know, declare it and go from there?

Turns out it's a wee bit more complicated than that. Still, there are some 20 million emancipated minors in the U.S. Here's the 101 on becoming an emancipated minor and the most common reasons for it.
