My candidate lost the presidential election last week. I supported Mitt Romney completely, and I know he would have led this nation well. His business acumen would’ve pulled us out of this craptastic economy that Obama has the nerve to call a recovery, and his leadership skills would have restored our role as the greatest country on the planet in the history of ever.

But he lost, so it’s four more years of playing, “What did the White House cover up today?” Hey, at least we still have Joe Biden to keep us entertained.

Here are the five stages of grief that many Romney supporters are in the process of going through. It was a tough loss guys. It’s going to take some time to get over it. Jay Carney won’t help. Just saying.

Not long ago, 4-year-old Abigael Evans became a viral sensation after expressing her tear-filled exasperation over the seemingly endless campaign. "I'm tired of Bronco Bama and Mitt Romney," she cried.

The tears are all gone, but in an equally priceless new video, the Colorado tot shares how she feels about the election results. It's too cute to pass up.

I breathed a sigh of relief and pumped my fists in the air when Barack Obama was reelected last week. I allowed myself a moment of celebration and nod of gratitude for all the hours volunteers spent toiling for a cause and a candidate they believe in.

In sharp contrast, most of my Romney supporting friends admitted to me that they were voting against Obama and cast only a half-hearted vote for Romney. This matters not in outcome, but it does matter in terms of passion and conviction. I tried to wake my sons to tell them the news as they requested, but neither boy budged. It was, after all, well past midnight, and they had been sleeping soundly for hours. My pride, relief, and celebration were extinguished pretty quickly.

Ashley Judd is a beautiful actress who is best known for a number of movies, including Double Jeopardy and Kiss the Girls. But now she is considering a run for the US Senate against Mitch McConnell in her native Kentucky.

McConnell ran a very loud campaign to get President Obama out of office and to bring a Republican majority to the Senate. He achieved neither of these goals, and now if Judd, a very well-liked actress and member of the singing Judd family, is convinced, he may lose his own seat in 2014.

Oh please let it happen! I know what the right wing will say (insert massive eye roll).

Whew! That was some kind of exciting presidential election, huh? Between the completely inaccurate numbers and the completely offensive comments, there was almost too much going on to notice that this presidential election was also completely free of Bush family members. I mean, how often does that happen? No George H. W. Bush, no George W. Bush, no Jeb Bush or Samuel Prescott Bush or even just plain Prescott Bush. Of course, there were more than enough Romneys to take their place, but still. Anyway, no more slacking for the Bush bunch: 36-year-old George P. Bush, nephew of George W. Bush and son of Jeb Bush, has apparently filed papers "indicating that he intends to run for statewide office" in Texas.

Oh for the love of God, will someone please help Victoria Jackson get a grip? She's having an election-induced meltdown. Take the Twitter away from this woman. She's bananas.

"I can't stop crying. America died," she tweeted the day after the election. And before that she tweeted "America died." And before that she tweeted, "I can't stop crying." And you thought Diane Sawyer sounded drunk!

Duuude! Did you hear? Marijuana is legal in Colorado now! Like, legal legal, not just medical-legal. You can smoke it for fun now and you don't even need a prescription. Washington state legalized recreational marijuana, too.

Yes Nancy Botwin, it's for real. But listen up. I don't want to harsh anyone's mellow here but Colorado is not going all Pineapple Express overnight. There are a few rules. Hey, over here! Read these rules first before you light up. Maybe post them on your bag of cheese doodles so you can remember.

No matter which way you were expecting the election to go last night, you probably weren't expecting Diane Sawyer to end up causing almost more social media buzz than both candidates combined. But the ABC anchorwoman's silly, slurry coverage of the evening's events has caused quite a ... well, let's just say someone called @DrnkDianeSawyer was on Twitter before Obama was officially re-elected (a sample messagenothig to c here guys im ok d'ont worry abot me).

I'll admit I found Sawyer's rambling delivery and apparent difficulty in pronouncing the word "presidency" to be somewhat ... odd, but I don't know the woman personally. No reason to jump to conclusions, here -- maybe she was just uber-tired. Think about it: The woman probably hasn't slept in days! We all get a little punch-drunk when we're completely exhausted, right? (Oh, by the way, Diane -- it's President Obama, not President Barack. No biggie.)

The president has been re-elected, Governor Romney gave a gracious concession speech, and Republicans across the country persist in leaping to the worst of conclusions and losing their ever-loving minds.

It's an exciting elections night for women so far! "Professor" Elizabeth Warren won her bid for senator in Massachusetts. Nerd power! Kirsten Gillibrand held onto her senate seat in New York State (we knew she would). Disabled Iraq War veteran Tammy Duckworth won Congressional seat for Illinois. Debbie Stabenow held onto her seat in Michigan. And Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin has become the first out lesbian senator in U.S. history.

Claire Conner McCaskill "legitimately" defeated Todd Akin in Missouri. Akin became notorious for his comment on "legitimate rape." Joe Donnelly is no woman, I'd like to point out. But it's worth mentioning that he defeated Richard Mourdock of Indiana, who became infamous for his remarks that a pregnancy resulting from rape is part of God's plan. Um, was it God's will that Mourdock lose -- or was it the people of Indiana's? But let's get back to the ladies!
