Really tiny babies always made me nervous so I was glad when my baby was born just shy of 10 pounds. The nurses in the hospital said she was their favorite—they called her the "big girl" and loved her chubby cheeks. But last week in California, doctors delivered what they think was the biggest baby ever in Orange County.
Richard Walker Sault is too big for his car seat and most of his clothes. He was born weighing 14 pounds, 2 ounces, and it took two doctors to lift him up during the C-section. His mom, Sara Sault, says she was expecting a large baby, but not that big (she had gestational diabetes during her pregnancy)! Hats off to her!

My son was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 21 inches long.
I had a son who weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces. They joked at the hospital to let them know the next time I was going to deliver so they could order some Toddler Pampers!
my first was 10 lbs even they called him "the little linebacker". my 2nd was 9 even but i was on a no carb diet the entire pregnancy (dr orders)
My dauger was 7 lbs 13 oz and my son was 7 lbs 11 oz.
My son was 9 lbs 4 oz and now, at four month, is 17 lbs 5 oz! He's so huge, and we're so little!
My daughter was born at 35 weeks 3 days weighing 6 lbs. 7.25 oz and (6 yrs. later) my son was born at 38 weeks weighing 6 lbs. 6.7 oz.. Just 4 days earlier my friend had her baby 4 weeks early via emergency c-section weighing 9 lbs. 4 oz (gestational diabetes). And my other friend's son (born in February) was less than a week early and weighed 10 lbs. 9.6 oz. (she just has big babies).
My first was 10.2 lbs. and 24 inches long and my 2nd was 9.11 lbs and 23 1/2 inches long. I had my first natural because my epidural didn't take and it was too late to do anything. Thank god this woman had a c-section is all I can say.
My son was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 3/4 inches long
my oldest was 8 lb. 4 oz and 21 inches. I thought that was a good sized baby. My 2nd was 9 lbs. 12 oz. and 22 in. long.
My babies were 8 lb 2 oz boy, 7 lb 9 oz girl, 6 lb 13 oz girl and my bouncing 9 lb 1 oz boy!
