The Disney movie Frozen has taken over the country. If you have a kid, chances are he or she loves Anna and Elsa and knows the words to at least two of the songs even if the movie has never been seen. Also Olaf! The frenzy over Frozen, however, isn't just for kids. It's for Marines.
Yes, Marines. You know you've been cooped up with the guys too long when an animated kid-flick makes a bunch of grown men say, "Ooh-rah!" Check out this priceless clip that will make your day. Nothing like seeing tough guys singing princess songs.
First, we must prepare ourselves. And also admit how much we love the songs from the movie. I've been singing, "The cold never bothered me anyway" for weeks now in hopes to trick myself into liking the fact that spring forgot to actually show up here in the Northeast.
I will also admit that I like "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" better than "Let It Go" mostly because I love the way my 4-year-old son sings it with his little whisper and expressive hand gestures. "Love Is an Open Door" is good, too. So is "For the First Time in Forever." "For the first time in forever, there'll be magic, there'll be fun. For the first time in forever, I could be noticed by someone ...."
And then there's "Let It Go." When it's sung by these tough Marines, it takes on a whole other meaning.
What's your favorite Frozen song? And how much did you LOVE this clip?
