Don't you hate it when you're driving along, minding your own business, and someone gets up close and personal with your tailgate? I know not everyone cares about little things like speed limits, but just because you're in a hurry is no reason to get dangerously and rudely close to the back end of someone's vehicle.
One woman in Florida was perturbed by some guy in a truck that was riding her rear end, so she turned her camera on him. What resulted was a two-minute video that basically defines instant karma.
Take a look:
Thankfully we can laugh about this because no one was hurt. In fact, the guy left the scene before the police even showed up, but thanks to this woman's video, they were able to track him down. He's been charged with leaving the scene, reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
Of course there are people questioning the safety of the woman operating a camera while driving, since most states now have texting while driving laws, not to mention it's just reckless, but she insists that she was paying attention to the road and her mirrors, steering with one hand and just holding her cellphone with the other.
And then there's the question of whether or not she was egging him on. About midway through the video, he tries to pass her, and she speeds up so he can't. She says that the speed limit increased there and she was just following that, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was because she wanted to be sure to get his very rude gesture on film.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, and next time you feel a bout of road rage coming on, try to remember that light poles and people with cellphone cameras are everywhere.
Do you think it was reckless for this woman to film while driving?
