Today marks Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the one day of the year we stop to remember a great man who worked not only to change America but to change the world. If it weren't for his assassination in 1968, the Civil Rights leader would have turned 85 this month (his birthday is technically January 15, but today marks the third Monday). And no doubt he would still be speaking out against injustice.
For it is his speeches that are among the doctor's greatest legacy to the world. He spoke of change, of peace, of tolerance. It seems only fitting that as we mark his birthday, we look at the most inspiring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quotes.
Number 7 remains my favorite. How about you?
