Chilling Picture Shows Dead 9-Year-Old Boy Acting as 'Guardian Angel' (PHOTO)

OMG 80

guardian angelIf you're on the fence about life after death, ghosts, and that sort of thing, I have something that will likely sway you to the "believer" side -- even if only a bit. Recently, the smiling face of Nicolas McCabe, a 9-year-old boy who was tragically killed in a tornado earlier this year, seems to have appeared in the background of a photo of his cousin. The image of Nicolas was spotted by his grief-stricken father, Scott, and although the mind does have a tendency to play tricks on a grieving heart, it's kind of hard to argue with the image that very much looks like Nicolas' face in the picture.

Check it out:

The photo was taken on July 4, and in it, Nicolas' cousin, Madison, can be seen playing with a sparkler. But if you look right past Madison's head, there appears to be another face -- a different face with different features and a different skin tone. "I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Nicolas loved the Fourth of July and he loved firecrackers," Scott said. "My brother, when he saw it, he said the hair stood up on his neck. I was in awe. It touched my heart. It's obviously not Madison. It's obvious there are two people there or one person there and one spirit there."

Now, sure, Nicolas' father is beside himself after losing his son, and he may tend to see what he wants to see, but it really looks like his son is in the background of this photo. And even if it's not, and some skeptic knows the reason for the double image, so what? Let's let the man believe and see what he wants to believe and see. Seeing an image of his son in a photo, smiling and having fun on his favorite holiday, has to offer an immense amount of relief and closure to Scott.

And if you ask me, it looks pretty damn realistic.

Have you ever had an experience like this?
