25 Things Obama Should Apologize for Now That He’s Apologized for Obamacare

On Thursday, President Obama apologized to the multitude of Americans that are losing their health care plans as a direct result of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," he said in an exclusive interview at the White House. "We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this."

This apology comes days after the revelation that the White House knew Americans wouldn’t be able to keep their plans, and the president lied repeatedly about it anyway. So I for one am not taking this apology too seriously. Maybe if he’d said, “I’m sorry that this interview is being filmed from the waist up, but it's because my pants are on fire due to all the lies that have come out of my liary liar-hole in my lying face,” I’d consider accepting it.

But hey, at least it’s a start. An apology is an apology, right? Now if only he could apologize for:

  1. Saying the attacks in Benghazi were the result of a video
  2. Fast and Furious
  3. Destroying our position in the Middle East
  4. Sending Churchill’s bust back to England
  5. The IRS targeting conservative groups
  6. The Syria “red line” humiliation
  7. The stimulus
  8. Not passing a budget in five years
  9. Halting the Keystone Pipeline
  10. Bowing to other heads of state
  11. Insulting small business owners with his “you didn’t build that” line
  12. Spending more money than all the other presidents before him -- combined
  13. Solyndra
  14. Not condemning Occupy Wall Street for the unwashed, violent hippies they were
  15. Refusing to prosecute the Black Panthers
  16. Lavish vacations for his family while unemployment was in double digits
  17. Van Jones
  18. Shutting down the oil industry in the Gulf of Mexico
  19. Keeping World War II veterans from visiting their memorial
  20. Lack of support for Israel
  21. Blaming Bush
  22. Gifting Queen Elizabeth with an iPod loaded with pictures of himself and audio of his speeches
  23. Saying the public will be able to read every bill online five days before a vote
  24. Wiretapping
  25. Michelle Obama for her war on pizza and candy

What would you like to see the president apologize for?

I love the Van Jones one.  Do you want him to apologize for hiring him or just in general that the d-bag was ever born?  And number 20 should be-Lack of support of Israel while saying you're giving them the most support they've ever had.  And you forgot lying about how he was going to have the most transparent presidency ever and I would like a general apology for the rude and childish way his press secretaries have dealt with the press.

Jenny you are easily the most unlikeable blogger on this site. Your infantile logic and narrow point of view overshadow any legitimate points you want to make. I think you're the most hypocritical and hate-mongering writer on this site and every article thay I read by you reinforces my disdain of you

Seriously Stir? Not one person on staff that can discuss politics without being a simpleton? Not one?

I agree with Rachael, you are rather immature

Half of the things on this list are not Obama's doing. If Republicans would like a say in what happens in this country, they need to do what Obama did, win some elections. The Republican Party isn't doing well, and you aren't helping. You remind me of Stephen Colbert. You're so far right that it comes off as a joke and illogical.

Oh my god. Jenny,I literally have never seen you write ONE positive thing about Obama,or any other remotely liberal politician. All your political posts are INCREDIBLY negative, hypocritical, poorly written, and sometimes just pure lies. I'm a Conservative myself, but you make us all look ridiculous and unintelligent. Are you seriously criticizing Michelle Obama for wanting less Obesity in the U.S? What are you,Pro-Obesity and Unhealthy eating/diets? You're grasping for straws at this point. Criticize Republicans once in a while,we all know that both sides have issues. According to a recent poll, only 22% of Americans view the GOP favorably, but where's your articles discussing that? Oh right, Liberals are the ONLY issue in politics, and Obama is the Anti christ. Get real. You make all of us Conservatives look bad.

I actually like Jenny....the best part of your little rant ThatsSoRachel is that even though your disdain for Jenny has been reinforced you continue to click...and read her posts. You're such a winner.

thanks sweetcherry. I like to think of myself as one. I happen to have an open mind and tend to read articles that I may or may not agree with at first glance. If the author makes a case that is based on evidence and makes sense, I might change my mind. However, Jenny hardly ever uses evidence and logic when talking about political or social issues. Thats why I dont like her.

I agree with everything on this list. Why should Jenny write anything positive about Obama when there's nothing he's done for our country that wasn't designed to ruin it? I'll never say anything good about that POS, but that doesn't make me "far right". It makes me someone who sees through his bullshit. Him & 95% of any politician regardless of party affiliation. I feel the same way about McCain, Christie, McConnell, Boehner, et al.
