Monica Lewinsky's Sex Tape for Bill Clinton Surfaces in All Its Steamy Glory

Bill Clinton and Monica LewinskyToday news came that a racy, never-before-heard sex tape Monica Lewinsky made for Bill Clinton has surfaced after all these years. Apparently the National Enquirer got a hold of the audio recording (thank goodness there were no iPhones then!) in which Lewinsky attempts to convince the President to meet her for a quickie or whatever he wants.

Back when the scandal broke it was thought the tape, which was allegedly made months after their final alleged tryst in March 1997, had been destroyed, but according to the Enquirer a cleaner didn't destroy it, and so now here it is ... in all its explicit glory.  In it you reportedly can only hear Lewinsky's voice. “I could take my clothes off and start … I hope to see you later and I hope you will follow my script and do what I want," she says, according to a written excerpt published by Radar Online. Then she goes on ... and on.

She offers all sorts of suggestions and logistics as to what they can do, from seeing a movie or having boxed dinners to having "a nice little visit for, you know, 15 minutes or half an hour. Whatever you want.” She went on begging:

You can’t refuse me because I’m too cute and adorable and soon I won’t be here anymore to pop over. I’m very persistent, but um … I really want to see you.

As shocking as the whole thing was back when it happened, this is just sad really. It shows how desperate Lewinsky was, and we already knew that. Her life has been defined by this incident, and while both she and Bill Clinton were at fault, it's her who has suffered the repercussions the most, and it's her who this sex tape taints even further (if that's possible).

Some are saying this new tape could thwart Hillary Clinton's political ambitions to run for the White House. A source told the Enquirer:

The Clintons thought this sex tape was dead and buried. If this tape and other material are surfacing now, imagine what else must be out there? This could be just the tip of the iceberg and the most embarrassing ‘bimbo eruption’ of all for the Clintons.

I don't think it will do any such thing. This is old news with a new twist. It's nothing we didn't at least imagine before, and it's frankly not all that shocking to learn now. The whole mess didn't destroy Bill Clinton before, and it won't even put a dent in him or Hillary now. In fact, if anything, it may help Hillary.  The only person that stands to suffer from this new bombshell is Lewinsky, and that's nothing new either.

Do you think this tape will hurt Hilary's chances at the presidency?
