The mother of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev spoke to her son by phone recently and decided (for some bizarre reason) to share it with the media. His mom, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, believes her son is innocent and has been framed by -- well, whomever. You can clearly see her distress as she talks to her son -- and you can clearly see it because there are cameras there. But, hey, Zubeidat doesn't have much to worry about -- besides, you know, her son potentially spending the rest of his life in prison or even facing the death penalty. Besides all that, Dzhokhar is getting it pretty good!
First, Dzhokhar's mom asks him if he's in pain. He replies:
Of course not. I'm already eating and have been for a long time. They are giving me rice and chicken now. Everything's fine.
Well, isn't that nice. Hey, that's what's great about this country, right? You can blow up a bunch of people and you still get chicken and rice! I mean, allegedly blow people up. Allegedly!
He then says:
Everything is good. Please don't say anything.
Yeah, mom. Keep yer trap shut! Notice he didn't say anything about being framed or innocent? Geez, that's what I would say -- if it were true.
Dzhokhar has his fair share of supporters -- he told his mom that some have even opened up a bank account for him. The family in Russia has also received financial support from donations. Well, I guess no one can say America hasn't been good to Dzhokhar -- even though he has allegedly not been good back.
Do you think he's innocent?
