Ghostbusters Aboard Haunted Navy Ship Completely Freak Out on Tape (VIDEO)

uss hornet

A group of self-proclaimed "Chill Seekers" in California decided to hop aboard a Navy ship no longer in use and hunt themselves some ghosts. The ship named the USS Hornet was an aircraft carrier that saw action in World War II as well as the Apollo 11 space mission, and it's been reported in the past -- or maybe just an urban legend? -- that the ship is haunted. What these Chill Seeker people found, well -- doesn't exactly making a case against it.

Check out the uber-creepy footage ... if you dare.

While there's definitely some weird things going on in this vid, I'm kind of inclined to question how "real" it is. I know, I know, I'm a party pooper. But what can I say? I'm more a person of science and logic.

I'm certainly open to the idea of people communicating beyond the grave, but I'm just not so sure I believe ghosts are so, how do I put this, "in your face" when you're asking them to be. Aren't they more "element of surprise" beings? I don't know. All I know is this video is weird and I'd never in a million years spend the night on an abandoned, reportedly haunted ship. So, yeah.

What do you think of this video?

Ha. Courtastic just described every "ghost hunting" show on the air right now. They are all pretty much the same.

Great input everyone! We collect over 30 hours of film and have to condense it down to 12-15 minutes. Believe us, if it was a perfect world, we'd all be fresh and in frame at the moment something happens, but it's not. We don't get interaction right upon request every time, so it may not be the perfect camera shot sometimes. We will take everyone's comments into consideration to make next episode even better. Thanks!
