Authorities are on the hunt for ex-Los Angeles cop Christopher Dorner, who is suspected of killing three people in a revenge-fueled murder spree against the LAPD, which he hates for firing him. So far, Dorner remains on the run. There are at least 100 cops searching for him in the snowy San Bernardino mountains. But perhaps there's one person who can get Dorner to phone home. And that person is ... Charlie Sheen?!!
Sheen has filmed a short video urging the hunted man to call him. Is it because Sheen understands crazy? Because they are tiger blood related? What?
Before Dorner went on his killing spree -- allegedly shooting the daughter of an LAPD captain and her fiance, and killing another officer and injuring two more, he wrote about his life philosophies and killing plans and motivations on Facebook.
In his "manifesto," Dorner not only detailed his rage against the LAPD, but his admiration for many celebrities, including Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Kelly Clarkson, Kate Winslet, Louis CK and Charlie Sheen. (Hey, he was an LA cop.) Charlie seems to be one his favorites. He singled him out by writing:
Charlie Sheen, you're effin awesome.
In his video plea, Charlie says:
You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I'm urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing.
Since Charlie doesn't leave his phone number, I'm assuming Dorner already knows it? Maybe these two chaps have had contact before? Orrrrr could this just be a publicity stunt on Charlie's part? Hmm. Tough call. Winning!
Anyway, if Dorner doesn't respond to Charlie, maybe Bill Cosby can make a plea too. Dorner seems to like him even more than Charlie.

Um I think the point Charlie is trying to make, is if he calls him, they can locate him? He's trying to use the fact that this crazy man respects him and thinks he's awesome to try to aid in locating him.
Honestly, I think Charlie Sheen wants this to end peacefully just like the rest of us. He's done a great deal of bad things in his time, but in recent years, he's also done a whole lot of good. Donating $1 million to the USO, paying for that paparazzi's funeral that he didn't even know, giving Lindsay Lohan $500,000 to pay her tax liens.
If anything, Dorner has been stewing for years after his firing from the LAPD, so he's probably done research and could very well have some sort of contact information for Sheen. I hope in some way, Dorner contacts him and Sheen can talk him into surrendering.
This guys enemy is his malfunctioning brain. I suspect he's aware of that at least some of the time. Who knows what will either make him stand down or draw him out? Can't hurt for Charlie to give it a try.
