hillary clinton websiteWhoa, so, it hasn't even been more than a few days since Hillary Clinton left her post as Secretary of State, but judging from her new website, it already looks like she may be kicking off her campaign for the presidency. Whoa! So far, HillaryClintonOffice.com features just a contact button and a presidential photo of Hillz, but it's certainly a sign of something brewing. Add in the fact that Bill and Chelsea Clinton sent a mass email yesterday, urging recipients to "thank Hillary for making our country and our world, stronger, safer, and better," and it's kind of hard to imagine that she isn't already planning a 2016 run.

Democratic strategists agree, noting, "These are not the kind of things you do if you want to fade quietly into the night." Seriously! But okay, okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves ...

Aides claim the "contact" button on the new site is just a way for "people to keep in touch." Hoookay. Why would they need to, if she was planning on fading into oblivion? As The Daily News points out, it could very well be a way for Clinton to build up her supporter database. Exaaaactly.

And despite what her friend Ann Lewis told NBC, that Clinton wants to "take some time, put her feet up, take a nap," the website makes it clear that at least in some capacity, Hillary wants to remain a public person. Perhaps to launch a book, a global initiative (like Bill?), or ... a play to step into that Oval Office as soon as it opens up!?!

Still, the soonest we would probably know about a real, legit campaign for the presidency would be two whole years from now. (2015, aka the "future" in Back to the Future -- weird!) But in the meantime, this website is totally proof Hillary at least wants to keep the option of running open. Hence there's reason to be excited about what the future holds!
