Jodi Arias Says Murdered Mormon Boyfriend Was a 'Sexual Deviant' & She Was His 'Dirty Secret' (VIDEO)

OMG 13

The Jodi Arias murder trial has rocked the Mormon world. She is accused of murdering her lover, successful, handsome 30-year-old elder Mormon Travis Alexander. This was no ordinary murder -- Travis was found stabbed 29 times in his own shower, his throat slit, and he was shot in the head. After changing her story several times, Arias has finally admitted she killed Travis -- but said it was in self-defense. Part of her defense all along is that Travis, who was supposed to be a chaste Mormon, wasn't at all what he'd seemed. That, in fact, he was a "sexual deviant" with a dirty secret.

According to the defense, Travis was a "sexual deviant" who sent Jodi "lewd nude pictures" of himself while presenting to the rest of the world the image of an upstanding Mormon. He also apparently kept his relationship with Jodi a "dirty secret" from his pals. Travis also baptized Jodi into the Mormon faith -- while he was sleeping with her. Another big no-no.

Call me crazy, but Travis sounds like a liar and a jerk, but not a sexual deviant. Yeah, he was a Mormon who was supposed to be chaste, and he clearly was not. But does that make someone an abuser? Does this mean he deserved to be killed? Sounds like his character is now on trial.

Jodi is going to have a tough time convincing a jury of the self-defense claim given some of the evidence: She had sex with Travis in the hours leading up to his murder; they took naked photos of each other; and she even appears to have taken a photo of him as he lay bleeding on the shower floor. She then allegedly took the camera, deleted the photos, and put it in the washing machine. But the photos were recovered.

Jodi then allegedly broke into Travis's voicemail and began listening to his messages and deleting the ones she'd previously left. Jodi also had a history of stalking and jealousy with Travis -- allegedly breaking into his Facebook account. The relationship was fraught with issues from the get-go, with Travis repeatedly cheating on her with other women. In fact, at the time of the murder, Jodi and Travis were supposedly broken up and Jodi was telling her pals she and Travis were "just friends." But in reality she was obsessed with her on-off again boyfriend.

Folks, relationships like this one are just bad news. If you're in one, get out. They may not always lead to murder, but they rarely lead anywhere good. Jerks like Travis may deserve to be dumped -- but not killed. I don't believe Jodi was a born murderer -- but the toxic relationship between her and Travis ended up being deadly. If Jodi gets the death penalty, this is two lives snuffed out for essentially nothing.

I actually hadn't seen or heard of this story at all until this article. Since she is obviously guilty by her own admittance, I hope she gets the most severe punishment allowed;though I'm sure like most she'll get a sweet plea agreement/deal instead. Regardless of whether he deserved it or not(who are we to say;we didn't know him, maybe he did and maybe he didn't. I'm not going to assume anything), I hope his family finds peace and comfort.

You're saying he's a jerk, based on...her saying he was as part of her defense for murdering him? Seems kinda weird to me.

Any criminal psychologist will tell you, THAT amount of stab wounds is a sign of extreme rage. It ain't self defense at that point, you don't need to do all that to make yourself safe. Looks more like revenge, or just plain old crazy murder.

i have been watching this case for what feels like forever and i think she has done her time she should be released. he was a member of a cult he lied to his cult friends and family about this woman, he abused her and used her. i hope she goes free i believe her i have yet to see any proof that his lies were in any way true.

Sexual misconduct can occur where one person uses a position of authority to compel another person to engage in an otherwise unwanted sexual activity. For example, sexual harassment in the workplace might involve an employee being coerced into a sexual situation out of fear of being dismissed. Sexual harassment in education might involve a student submitting to the sexual advances of a person in authority in fear of being punished, for example by being given a failing grade.

Several sexual abuse scandals have involved abuse of religious authority and often cover-up among non-abusers, including cases in the Southern Baptist religion,[2] Catholic Church, Episcopalian religion,[3] Islam,[4] Jehovah's Witnesses, Lutheran church,[5] Methodist Church,[6] The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,[7] the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Orthodox Judaism,[8] other branches of Judaism,[9] and various cults.

This woman has told so many lies that I am like the jury: Why believe her? she says she is telling the truth now, but can she be believed? She at one point was seeing a counselor for some unknown condition. was she mentally ill to begin with or just seeking help for being a compulsive liar? Too bad he did not live, perhaps the truth would have come out!

i've studied psychology as a pasttime for a while, and i have to say, he looks like he had issues of his own- he completely fits the profile of domestic abuser. he is self-obsessed and controlling.

1)notice his body language in all the photos--- always turned away from her, always smirking at the camera, which really is him smirking at himself-- because the camera acts as a mirror.

2) look at how obsessively organized his closet is-- that is the closet of someone who wants everything in its' right place, and when something or someone steps out of place, he would go crazy. i've met guys like him before, and i ran in the other direction.

3) his voicemails and texts--- he compares her to a 12 year old girl--- not even a TEENAGER, but a 12 yr old-- it shows his immaturity and possibly pedophilia.

all in all, i've not lost any sleep over this person not existing in the world anymore. all these religious folks painting him as a good person are in extreme denial. if he didn't abuse arias, it would just be another girl. i do believe she killed him in a fit of rage. but i also believe he was a manipulative motherfucker that deserved it.

I agree, this guy was a manipulative liar. Men only want sex and females are looking for love and acceptance. I believe he used her and tormented her with his seeing other women. The fact he was Morman, a religious cult of people who think they are better than others leads me to feel he deserved it! He portrayed this "great guy" but she saw through him. Was she driven over the edge by him? Absolutely. I feel they should let her go. One less asshole guy now for our daughters to date. Yeah!!!!
