Linda Weiss, the woman congressman Anthony Weiner sexted with (and the woman who sold this story to Radar Online because Weiner was a "bad man" and a "liar"), recently commented on a Facebook photo on Weiner's page that features him, his wife Huma, and their new baby Jordan. As if the whole thing was just some silly high school tiff years ago, Weiss wrote on Weiner's page: "So great to see you back! Your wife and son are beautiful! Please let me apologize again for any pain I caused you or the beautiful Huma ... it was unintentional ... I still think you are our liberal hero and we need you back in politics!!"

What the hell is going on here? Am I in the Twilight Zone? Is Linda?

I'm not saying that what Weiner did was right here -- not at all -- but Linda's telling of this story did result in his resigning from office. Unless there's a backstory we don't know about, it's incredibly odd that this is how she's choosing to "rekindle" their friendship on Facebook with a "Hey, you, old friend!" type of message. In fact, it's weird that she's trying to rekindle their friendship at all! And why are they friends on Facebook?! This is also the woman who sent that weird apology to Weiner's wife, only making things worse! So many questions!

I'm assuming that Weiner isn't the person who maintains his Facebook account, otherwise these two wouldn't be friends. And if he is, he'll unfriend her soon. He should. The relationship between these two has clearly run its course. And like I said -- this literally makes no sense whatsoever.
