Man Pricks Holes in Girlfriend's Condoms & Goes to Jail for Getting Her Pregnant

Twisted 50

condomsGot a creepy ex-boyfriend story? Hopefully it doesn't come close to this one. Craig Jaret Hutchinson is facing 18 months in jail after he pricked holes in his girlfriend's condoms. The girlfriend -- well ex-girlfriend these days -- ended up pregnant with a baby she never wanted and ended up getting an abortion.

Hutchinson, meanwhile, was hauled into court. He's been convicted on charges of sexual assault. What in heaven's name would make a guy think this was OK?

Apparently Hutchinson and the woman identified only as N.C. had been together nine months and things were getting a little rocky. He told cops in Nova Scotia he thought a baby would bring them back together.

So he forced her to have unprotected sex without her consent?

Not the answer, folks. Not even close. Obviously the key to any relationship is trust, and Hutchinson violated that one big time.

But this particular method -- sabotaging birth control -- is troubling because it stole away this woman's right to choose what happens to her own body. Sure, she said yes to sex, but she very deliberately made use of condoms because she was not ready for what results when having unprotected sex. And then she was stuck dealing with that aftermath anyway because her boyfriend was a sicko!

N.C. had to go through the heartwrenching decision of having an abortion she never should have had to have, an abortion she was actively trying to prevent just as she was trying to prevent pregnancy by using condoms.

What Hutchinson -- and really anyone -- needs to learn is that you can't make someone else's decisions for them. We have free will, free reign over our own bodies. Violating that is violating the most personal of human rights.

Does this qualify as a crime worth 18 months in jail in your book?

You can't let your whole future be decided by the strength and correct use of a little piece of plastic.

What about all the women who entrap their boyfriends by poking holes in condoms? You dont see them getting hauled off to jail... Why? Because the men cant do anything about it. He gets no say as to whether or not they should have a baby. This to me is a gross double standard. He didnt make her get an abortion, she chose to. She could have kept it, or given it up for adoption. To blame him for her abortion is wrong.

WHAT?????? Sexual Assualt???????????

This is SO wrong!!  He did NOT sexually assualt her.  Good grief.  I see this on CM often - in the answers section and other places - women sabotaging their birth control in order to get pregnant when the guy doesn't want to.  FAR MORE WOMEN should be in jail for this if it is sexual assualt.

Poor guy will probably now be a registered sex offender now too.

Hey jeanne what about the babys right to NOT have its little body ripped apart and thrown in the garbage?? Or if its first trimester the baby is sucked right out the womb?

It's sexual assault because he introduced bodily fluids into her body without her consent. If the condom broke accidentally she could have gotten Plan B or figured out some other way to handle the issue, instead she found out she was pregnant.

The woman shouldn't be forced to carry a baby to term that she doesn't want. I fully support her decision even though I'm sure it was a tough one to make.

Even if she never ended up pregnant, this is still sexual assualt.  The pregnancy part of it really doesn't matter.  This man exposed her to more than just the possibility of pregnancy.  Maybe she was thinking of protecting herself from more than that.

I don't believe premarital sex is appropriate, but he threatened her physical health with this act.

Women do this kind if crap all the time! I think the double standard is awful. Yes what he did was wrong but not sexual assault.

He put bodily fluid in her, therefore it is sexual assault. Im against abortion but in a case like this and rape, I am understanding if it's the first trimester. Why should she have to carry a baby she doesn't even want? What if she's a model and it's her career to keep her body in shape? You can't force someone to have a baby.

As far as her being on the pill, she could have a medical reason of why she can't take it. I love when people jump to conclusions and think they know it all. Why should she have to carry a baby she doesn't even want? What if she's a model and it's her career to keep her body in shape? You can't force someone to have a baby.

This woman had sex with a stranger. Women know exactly what they are doing, why wouldn't they? Grace and truth.
